No lock is impossible to break, but this one comes pretty close while still being versatile. Its a good size to lock the back of my bike frame and wheel (including an electrical motor) to an adjacent rack. Also works to lock the front wheel to the frame. The key mechanism is still smooth after 1 year and a half even with exposure to rain. I use it along with another ABUS folding lock when I need a more flexible locking configuration, and my bike hasnt been stolen yet, so I guess its doing its job. If you ever need to order another key, its pretty hassle free using the given card. Allow for about 2 weeks shipping to US, so I would recommend replacing your spare immediately once youve burned through one.

Get this if your bike is worth it

Watched a review of e-bikes on YouTube about making your bike less desirable to thieves. They recommended ABUS as having really good locks. They stated that all locks can be overcome, but stated that this brand takes a lot more effort than most others. Purchased two of these locks, one for each of our bikes. This is a very heavy duty lock. It definitely will be difficult for someone to cut through this twice, in order to steal our bikes. The fit and finish of the lock is impeccable. This was a bit of a budget buster, so hopefully in the near future we can afford to purchase the matching chain locks.

No ones stolen my bike yet if that changes I will update my review.
