Greater than one weekVery sturdy, very heavy and well made. Im using in conjunction with the Abus Bordo GRANIT X plus link lock. Mainly because its an electric folding bike with high price tag and I need to protect the front electric motor wheel and the rear internal geared hub. Im pretty confident these will do the job.

> 3 dayThe choice was this or the Kryptonite. The ABUS won over Kryptonite with the strength test (search youtube) The Kryptonite did win with the insurance coverage offer...BUT The Kryptonite insurance coverage comes with a requirement that makes it just about useless. A) It requires you to send back the broken/damaged lock B) You have to take the same day pic of the bike locked Chances are if your bike gets stolen, the thief wont leave the busted lock. Then you have to remember to take a current pic every day you lock your bike. Based on that and the general reviews of the coverage, I decided to just go with the stronger ABUS lock. Side Note: As great as the mounting bracket is (sold separately)...it will only fit on a standard size bike frame. I have a 2019 Specialized Stumpjumper XL Mountain bike and I cannot use the mounting/holder bracket because it wont fit around the frame as the frame is pretty thick. So I just carry it in my water pack bag. I would have given it 5 stars if the bracket worked too seeing as I had to purchase that separately.

> 3 dayGreat lock; my daughter has a girls bike and it didnt really have anywhere that we could mount the lock so she has to carry it in her backpack when shes riding. But it is very sturdy and we feel that it provides great protection for her bike (on a college campus). She uses this lock to secure the front wheel and frame to the post, but also uses a Kryptonite chain to lace through the rear tire (not as a secure, but faster than using 2 U-locks).

> 3 dayI finally got myself a new bike, and wanted a new lock in the vein of a Kryptonite U-Lock. I have two previous K-locks that never failed me, but then I tend not to lock up unsupervised in public for long. I like the feel of the ABUS; the key action is smooth and the mechanism feels well made and sturdy. I understand that any lock is the best until its defeated, but so far so good. My one complaint is that even though its the same size as my K-locks, because of the U-bar shape and layer of sealant, it doesnt readily fit in my back pockets like a K-lock. I ride with my U-locks in my back pocket for security and driver harassment deterrence, so now I need to make other arrangements to keep it handy while riding.

> 3 dayThis is the best bike lock at this price range. Best weight to strength value. I use it for my Ebike.

> 3 dayHaving read lots of reviews, this is the lock that I finally decided on. Its rather heavy, but that should be a good indicator of the quality of the lock and materials used. I havent used it too often, but it always locks securely and gives me the peace of mind to leave my bike unattended.

> 3 dayLong enough for my scooter and a nearby post or rack. Beautiful mechanical sound when operated, makes me think of a bank vault door closing. Rubberized covering seems quite tough. Not terribly heavy but would make a fine defensive weapon should you happen to need one.

> 3 dayI was very impressed when I got this. It feels incredibly solid. A word of caution to consumers, its heavier than you think it is. Also, do yourself a favor and buy the one with USH connector. I got mine mounted on with 3 Velcro strap in the frame of my bike.

Greater than one weekI did a lot of research on bike locks before choosing this one. This is one of the highest rated locks (of the other two, one weighs a ton and the other is almost $300). It was number one against lock picking and its extremely resistant to a grinder with a titanium blade in spite of its 16mm shackle. Never mind bolt cutters. Its designed to resist extreme torque as well. Its easy to mount and rests sturdy. No rattling. Besides its amazing strengths, its relatively light in weight. This is my main lock. Although, I obviously dont rely on only one lock. The other is its rival in the same category. The other weighs a ton, tough.
