> 3 dayThis laptop does everything it promises. The battery is surprisingly powerful as is the processor and GPU. Turn on battery saver and it still plays games like Destiny 2 on high settings with capped FPS at 30 for about 2 hours. Plugged in I dont have a game that it wont run at high or ultra above 120 FPS. Fan isnt overly loud and the turbo mode is amazing. I havent needed to use it on games and like I said before, I dont even have a game that needs it. Needs a bit more HDD space but for anyone who can operate a screwdriver, its no problem. Keyboard is sturdy and quiet.

08-06-2025Worked great for 6 months or so. I used it as a desktop connected to a monitor and keyboard. As of last night is completely dead and won’t turn on. Would not purchase again.

I did a lot of research (YouTube reviews, Reddit reviews, price comparisons, etc.) before deciding to go with the Acer Helios, and I feel confident that with this purchase I got the most for my money. $1,200 is more than I have ever spent on a laptop, but this thing allows me to play my favorite games (Witcher 3, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc.) on settings that are just beautiful.
