Amazon Basics Outdoor Smart Plug with 2 Individually Controlled Outlets, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Works with Alexa Only

In the past I’ve used outlets with a remote, and I found this to be suboptimal. You can lose the remote, or if you’re not anywhere near the remote it’s a hassle to go find it… You get the idea. But this outlet I can control from anywhere using my Amazon fire stick, or iPhone! if we had any other Alexa devices in the house we could use those as well. I had a very tiny amount of difficulty when using the app, but to be fair I didn’t spend a lot of time with it. That wasn’t the plugs fault, it was my issue with the Alexa app. But after I got things squared away I was able to designate a name for each outlet, and canned control two different sets of lights. I absolutely Love the freedom this plug gives me, and couldn’t be more happy with it! Highly recommend!!

Bought this to hook up my outside lights and it works as expected. Alexa makes folks lazy but hey that is what we pay for. The price was good as well. Got it on black Friday and saved a few dollars. No complaints.
