Amazon Basics Outdoor Smart Plug with 2 Individually Controlled Outlets, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, Works with Alexa Only

We had one of the staked timer outlet boxes that kept having issues - set to turn on at dusk for several hours, but if it was cloudy/dark enough during the day it would activate sometimes. I purchased this outdoor smart plug after having purchased an indoor smart plug strip and having great luck with scheduling Alexa routines with that. I figured this would similarly do the same for our outdoor holiday lights. So far, this has worked flawlessly. It turns on and off right on schedule every day. The construction is solid and no worries about the weather.

Bought this to hook up my outside lights and it works as expected. Alexa makes folks lazy but hey that is what we pay for. The price was good as well. Got it on black Friday and saved a few dollars. No complaints.

I loved that it auto set up pretty much. Did not have to do much at all and it was working.

Works as intended. Would have been much better if the plug is right angle. Cord is very stiff and a bit too short.

Previously purchased a different outdoor plug from 3rd party thru Amazon. That app never linked to Alexa & plug didnt work as described so returned it. This outdoor plug has 2 outlets. Both can be controlled separately thru Alexa. Setup was less than 5minutes. So glad I bought this one! No more going outside to unplug holiday decorations! Woohoo!

I bought two of these for my outside Christmas lights this year. I have had experience with other smart outlets, and gotten frustrated getting them set up. These were a breeze to configure. Just scan the code on the box and everything works great. Im continuing to use one as a grow light timer now that Christmas is over.

Was a little bigger than expected. Was really easy to setup, but does not always connect with the Alexa all the time. Have to unplug the re plug seems to fix it most of the time.

This was so easy to use, just plugged in and Alexa saw it right away. I was happy to turn my outdoor Christmas lights on and off without going out in the cold. I bought another brand previously but returned it because it did not work with Alexa even though the package said it did.
