AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core, 24-thread unlocked desktop processor with Wraith Prism LED Cooler

Im going to be honest. I usually blindly follow the Intel brand, granted for good reason (it works), but Ive been hearing how AMD has been catching up and even surpassing Intel in some regards. Im upgrading from Intels i7 3770k. And the performance boost is clear as day especially when paired with the fact that Im upgrading my RAM from DDR3 to DDR4 at the same time. (It has been a while.)

Processeur performant, mais pas de SGX sur les AMD, donc pas de lecture possible de Blu-ray UHD 4K, même avec un lecteur certifié UHD-4K. (Seul les processeurs Intel en sont capable). Cest pour moi un bémol pour ce processeur.

Es un procesador muy ficiente, me parece que es simplemente genial, 12 nucleos hace 24 meses era practicamente imposible obtenerlo a este precio, pero ahora tenemos por un precio justo un rendimiento muy bueno, temperaturas muy buenas, un gran procesador

I have nothing but good things to say about this CPU. Its fast, great value for the money. Parallelism is there when you need it with the many cores, and so is Turbo when you need fewer tasks to run at the same time. AMD innovation is really destroying Intel at this time.

A tremendous upgrade from the decade old CPU I was previously using. PLEASE NOTE this processor does not support onboard graphics. I did not realize that going in and after a few heart pounding minutes finally realized I needed a dedicated graphics card :)

The Ryzen series has been an incredible journey to be on. Ive used the 1700x and now am on the 3900x. I do a little bit of everything with my PC, but if youre just wanting a gaming rig, dont go with a Ryzen 9. Ryzen 5/7 will be perfect.

The price to performance for this is phenomenal. I bought this for $410 which was a killer deal, and right now its even cheaper at $389. I cannot think of a reason to not go with this if your budget matches. Absolutely insane. Works perfectly fine on my Asus B350-F Gaming board that I got for super cheap as well. Not a single issue after I updated my BIOS to be compatible with zen 2.
