After being a huge fan of this franchise for many years, I am happy to say that this is the BEST Animal Crossing yet! You have the ultimate ability to be creative with your land, furniture, villagers, and even clothing. You can interact online with friends, and even make new friends. The best part is how quality the graphics are. This game is really beautiful to look at! Yay! :)

Boy do I feel dumb. I thought you could just play this. I did not know you need an actual thing called a Nintendo Switch to play this!?

A wonderful Animal Crossing mainline addition. The multiplayer is perfect for working together on projects and to switch leaders is as easy as shaking the remote. The amount of customization available is amazing, you can really make the island all your own. The introduction of the nook miles tickets really helps with adding things to do everyday. Nook miles allow for a sense of progression without having to wait till the next day in game. One of my favorite games of the year so far.

I bought this game to try it out. I am more of a first-person shooter gamer, i.e., Call of Duty, Battlefront. I saw more and more people talking about Animal Crossing and was curious to try it out. It surprised me how much I did not need a shooter to make this game appealing. The tarantulas and wasps provide the thrills in the game. The music is very nostalgic. The real-world mechanics like paying off a mortgage and stalks is cool. The game also plays in real-time, so there is always something to do. There are a lot of activities. I am planning on giving a theme to my town now. Its fun trading with friends and visiting their islands. Theres so much more to explore.

As Animal Crossing has so many good attributes such as writing letters with now a USB keyboard being able to be attached, to learning saving, purchasing, planning, organizing and investment to make a more child oriented setting at least. This has pretty much been an older gamer game for years and even though the gifts back and the Elephant stealing the elephant watering can is funny to me as I have hoped they would make this more young child oriented so I could gift it to the new children in my family who might become extremely upset a cute animal stole from their pockets or the Bandit kids you have to watch so they do not just take your items not pay for them so I am peeved this great graphics fun game that helped teach more than one teen how to clean and organize their rooms not to over fill it but if they wanted many items to learn to sort and organize it well. I am very sure my friends daughter who loved to play this as a young preteen and teen with her mother learned a great deal about organization and style from the Gamecube Animal Crossing. The Switch Version is a big upgrade which surprised me the Animals are improved but there is still stealing and insults loads of funny jokes such that for a younger child you probably should play this with them and tell them the world can be like this and these are just immature ill mannered (but often hilarious) animals. Kind of on the vulgar side at times but they have toned it down and upped the clean humor so much I have found it fascinating. For a teen to adult I would give it a 5 star for a small child I would give it a two or three and say do not let the child play this alone as they may get so upset at the animal shenanigans they break the Switch like my friends kid does to her phones when she lets him play games on them and they get harder and harder each level where he gets frustrated. I do not understand that level stuff with small kids as it frustrates them greatly. It is difficult now to contact most Electronic etc. systems to gift suggestions or make requests for consideration.

Best version of animal crossing to date. The crafting is fun. I really liked the progression aspect of the game compared to older entries. Nook Miles system makes it easy to feel like you accomplished something and gives you a reason to do things you normally wouldnt mess with or know you should mess with. Play it with friends and family, just be prepared to buy them their own copies if you have multiple Nintendo Switches in your house.

Although, I do love this game- I find almost every task tedious. With most items and tools used in the game, you have to manually go back to your home just to access it. Running from one side of the island to the other just to access one use of an item is honestly... very annoying. Other than the giant parade of running and slow building, I really enjoy this Title
