> 3 dayComputers today either do not come with a drive bay or if you buy cases that do not have a slot for it then this is the other option. I purchased this because refreshing windows every year for some reason the network adapter isnt up to date so i have to use a drive to install the drivers for internet to work. works great

> 3 dayI got this drive to burn M-Disc DVDrs. The drive does that fine. Just dont touch it when its burning. If it gets bumped at all the disc is ruined and you have to start over. It came with blank 2 M-Discs which was a nice surprise. Construction is about what you would expect for this price. If you going to keep it in your laptop bag I would get a protective case for it. the door seems a little flimsy.

> 3 dayIt runs well with my MacBook Air. Simply plug it, and it runs. I had ordered it to read my CDs, but soon realized that it can do more than what I had expected. It truly is slim and light, and thus really portable. With the help of this super device, I have begun to transport my whole CD collection into my iTunes library. Best ever investment!

Greater than one weekI bought a new laptop that did not have a dvd/cd drive and needed to add programs to it that I have on disk, this ASUS ZenDrive does just what I need it to do!. Plug in and start downloading, it didnt seem to take very long. I give it the 5 stars it deserves. The only thing I can complain about the unit itself is the length of the cords, too short, I am using it in an awkward position, I have my laptop on a board on my lap and have enough room on the side to put this drive. It just fits and works great but I would of preferred a longer cord so that I could set it off on my side table. Thanks ASUS for another great product, I have an ASUS tablet that I bought about 5 years ago and it is still going strong! The only thing that I was really not thrilled about was the way it was shipped. The unit was packaged well in the box that came from the factory but the box that it was shipped in was too big and only 1 piece of bubble wrap was thrown in. Thankfully there was no damage. Have had a lot of items from Amazon not packaged very well. I have already left feedback on the packaging, I did that first thing, hopefully they will get enough negative feedback on the way they pack items and get that fixed.

Greater than one weekThe drive works perfectly. But, if you follow the directions in the window that pops up when you first power up the drive, it will load a free media player and a version of Explorer. Doing that may mess up the media player that you now use (e.g., VLC).

> 3 daythe outer plastic case is a bit flimsy: flimsy enough to interfere with the drive trays ability to close if you put your fingers on top of the case

> 3 dayThe cover is not a shiny metallic look like the images, its a very dull plastic. The concentric ring design is not as apparent. The unit is very slim, Ill give it that. Its also a bit loud. Seems well built enough, though a little flimsy. For the price, its fine, but there is a distinct difference between what is shown and what is received. Seems to perform just fine, so judge accordingly.
