Audio-Technica HP-EP Replacement Earpads for M-Series Headphones,Black

11-06-2025These are the perfect replacement for the worn out original earpads. I don’t understand the complaints about them being so hard to install. The trick is first line the earpad up to the headphones (so you know what is long ways). Then, hook on on an initial piece of the earpad, and finally push out slowly from inside the earpad, making sure it catches the groove as you go.

> 3 dayI tried the knock offs of these but like other reviewers have said they kill any bass response and are just bad. Pay the extra money and breathe new life into your Audio Technicas.

> 3 dayI purchased the Audio-ATH-M50x Studio Headphones in 2014 for $169.00. Im glad to see the price has come down to $149.00. I think $149 is more in line with the sound quality and over all experience you get with these headphones. They are definitely not high end quality headphones but for the price they get the job done for casual music & tv listening experience. If your intent is to analyze every high and low note, drum beat, and cymbal crash, I would recommend you search for a more professional type series of headphones$$$.

> 3 dayAs the title says, they feel a little stiffer but will probably soften with time. They do the job well because they dont alter the sound signature. Would buy these again.

> 3 dayDirect replacement from AT. Nothing to really say other than it is the original replacement which means they don’t alter the frequency response on the ATH M50x.

Greater than one weekGreat, comfortable pads. The greatest part is, theres no negative effect on the sound quality! They might even be better on some headphones. I put these on my Audio Technica athpro700mks, and boy am I glad I got these pads.
