Audio-Technica HP-EP Replacement Earpads for M-Series Headphones,Black

This is the packaging they came in. I heard so many negative reviews of people talking about how the aftermarket pads ( ie Brainwavz etc.) changed the sound quality, I didnt want that, so I chose the Audio Technica ones. I cant comment on any other pads because Ive never tried them, but was concerned it would affect what I was used to hearing with the M50xs. I wasnt disappointed at all with these. No more pieces of stuck pleather on the side of my face like I had with the old ones. M50xs sound like the day I bought them, and that was what I was looking for!

Bought for M50X as old ones were worn out and flaking. Look to be the same quality as originals and the headphones look and feel good as new

I was worried about them fitting from other reviews. I took them out the package and within minutes they were installed no tools or assistance required.

My Audio-Technicas M30s had been sidelined for a long time but now they are back in business. They are decent budget headphones and considering I only paid about $5 for them at the thrift store buying these OEM pads was a good choice. I read a lot of reviews that said other pads changed the sound or comfort so I paid a little more but I am satisfied. Putting them on isnt too difficult if you use two hands and take your time. I started on the side by placing the edge in the channel on the earpiece and holding it in place. When you get to the end, stretch it past the channel then pull it away and carefully let the edge go into the channel. Done. Get these if you want to bring your headphones back to life.

These worked out perfectly. Theyre actually more comfortable that the original pads. I dont mind wearing headphones for a longer period of time now. Great value for the money.

Overall great, but the material encasing the foam began to disintegrate (and make a bit of a mess!)

Better than stock I would say.

I will be reviewing my expierence with the replacement ear pads on the ATH-M35 headset.
