Aveeno Baby Soothing Hydration Creamy Oil for Dry and Sensitive Skin, Fragrance- and Steroid-Free, 8 Fl Oz

I was really confused as this was labeled as an oil yet the first ingredient was water. I would consider this more of a lotion than an oil. So I took 1 star off because I thought I was going to get something similar to Vaseline or oil base that would actually act as a barrier against water. When I looked at the back of the tube, there is this, 100% pure oat oil strengthens the skins moisture barrier. So maybe when they called this product an oil they were referring to that? Now that we have established that this is less an oil and more a lotion, as a lotion this works pretty well. It doesnt leave my hands greasy. When I wash my hands, it does feel as if a majority of the lotion washes off but there is something that does stay on my skin even after washing. I like this as it feels like the moisturizing effect has either penetrated the skin or whatever ingredient stays on the skin continuing to moisturizing it.

Very disappointed in Aveeno for discontinuing this product! Best lotion Ive ever had!

This is a great product, but Amazon does not seem to be carrying it in the 8oz tube anymore....

I like that its scent-free and not oily. However, it is not moisturizing enough and needs to be re-applied frequently.

This Aveeno moisturizing lotion for babies works as advertised! My son was getting dry skin over his body that became very noticeable after we bathed him. While looking for something to help with his dry skin, I found this Aveeno lotion. From the first use of this moisturizer, we noticed an immediate improvement. Now, after every bath, once we dry my son off, we use this lotion on him, and it has completely eliminated his dry skin. This lotion has no scent whatsoever, goes on very easily and lasts for the entire day. Strongly recommended for someone looking to clear up their babies’ dry skin.

Definitely sceantless. I use it for both my 6 month son and myself. It leave our skin super soft, but is incredibly thick!

This Aveeno creamy baby oil is unscented. It is a medium thickness and contains oat oil and vitamin E. The addition of dimethicone at 1.2% provides an additional skin protectant that really makes a difference. The lotion is absorbed well and quickly. It leaves skin feeling well hydrated and protected. Great to use on irritated areas as well. One of my favorite lotions for the dry winter months. Very pleased and highly recommend trying.

It helps with eczema, I like that it has no fragrance, and it goes on very smooth and softens skin. Nothing else was all that effective with eczema. While I dont think this is a silver bullet for everyone, it did work better than I expected and had a measurable impact. I can suggest this as worth trying, though we all have different expectations on what effective is - but I thought it made a difference on dry skin. It is not greasy, and like i said, theres no scent and I like that because you can put on as much as you want and dont have a cloying scent follow you. Good baby oil!
