I bought this little thing to use in our 24 travel trailer that we keep on a site where were slowly building our new house. I had shopped for portable fans on many sites and chose this one and I dont even remember why I purchase this one - probably because it had the best reviews in its price tag. Most of the fans I looked at took D batteries, but not this one! I didnt recall reading that it was USB rechargeable, and that part works great. We only have 120v power when running a generator, so we rely on 12V, USB powered stuff for our trailer. We do have solar hooked up, so I could leave it plugged in to the one USB port in the trailer, but its really nice at home too so it travels back and forth. The clip is nice and big and clips on all sorts of spots to help circulate air in the trailer. PLUS it has this flat base in the design of the clip so you can set it on the table or counters or any flat surface! The variable speed is great. The head swivels in every direction - theres no limit to how you can direct the air. It runs while plugged into USB. That means at home I use it as my desk fan and when were up at our camper, I use it in the kitchen to help keep me cool. The price has gone up 25% since I bought it last week - at least for my account on Amazon. Im not sure I would have bought this at the current price.

UPDATE: immediately after I wrote my original review (see below), the seller contacted me and made arrangements to replace this fan with a different model. So this revised review will talk about both this fan, the Sky Genius Battery Operated Clip on Mini Desk Fan, and the slightly larger, but just as excellent

Its its a great little fan. I bought it to use in my hammock during the summer, I take the clip off and just use the Bale hang it on the Ridgeline. the switch for the speed doesnt work but the speed that does come on with its plenty to blow the air inside hammock. super lightweight but like I said you cant buy replacement battery off Amazon for it so bummer, but you can use a separate battery bank and the plug and use it that way so for the price and what I wanted in the size and everything it works perfect for what I need it for.

I got this fan to use on a stroller since it gets quite hot in Texas. I didnt expect it to be much but boy i was surprised. Its very efficient, quiet and portable. I was worried how Ill attach it to the stroller or anywhere but the clip is easy to clip on and has a really good range so it can clip onto something as thin as the shade or as thick as the frame. Plus you can rotate it and adjust it basically 360*. I also used it in the car the other day as the baby was overheating (which im dreading the summer if hes already burning up during winter) and i clipped it into the little stick part of head support of the middle seat in the back and set it so it blew towards the car seat but not in his face and he stopped crying right away. Before he was screaming coz he was hot and no matter how high my AC was. Then I had him outside on the porch and just set it on the floor and adjusted it and again it worked wonderfully. So far Ive been using it for few weeks and am very happy with the purchase. Weve used it quite a bit and didnt need to recharge the battery so far.

Update: SkyGenuis contacted me and sent me a replacement. The fan I got is powerful, quit and the battery still good. The moment I turned it on, my puppy sat in front of it and fell asleep :( . That’s exactly why I was excited to order it at first place. I will clip it on his car during our road trip. Very loud noise and battery dies 5 min after. I was expecting a brand new fan for my puppy during a road trip but With that level of noise I don’t think we will use it!

I assumed this would be small, lightweight, convenient and not very powerful. It checks all those boxes. I use it in my Jeep to blow on my face while working or cooking, either for cooling or to drive away mosquitoes. It does the trick. It stands up on its own, swivels well, and the clip is sturdy and can attach well to flat objects an inch thick (have not tried it on a round object, such as a pipe). The breeze it generates on high (youll probably always use it on high) is about what youd expect from a plastic fan whose blades are just 3-4 inches in diameter. But its easy to store and handy to move around and situate on a flat surface or clip to something. Holds a charge for at least 4 hours on high (have not tested beyond that, but the advertised life means Ill be recharging daily when in use, I suspect). Ill be testing it out camping and prolly might prefer something bigger and more powerful, but for the price, Im happy with it.

I wanted a small, seemingly durable fan, which was battery powered and able to be mounted in various positions to help circulate the air in my tractor cab to keep the windows free of any moisture during certain weather conditions. This fan has met those requirements. The cab has its own heat and air circulation system, but the air is limited to blowing out of vents which are mounted in the cabs ceiling liner and face the windshield and side windows. This fan is intended to circulate the air across the rear cab window and it is doing what I wanted. This fan is small, I have attached a picture of me holding the fan in my hand to give you an idea of the size. The spring clip for mounting the fan seems to be well made and does hold the fan where I have placed it. I have also attached a picture of the fan in the tractor cab, circulating air behind the operator, which is exactly what I wanted the fan to do. Its easy to recharge, the battery life seems as described and overall, I am pleased with the fan and its function. For me, the whole point is to move air and thats what this fan does. Its a handy, small fan that I could see being used in a variety of ways. For the price, its hard to beat and I like I dont have to have the fan hooked to a 12 volt outlet when in use, which gives the fan much broader application and function for me. Its done what I wanted thus far. If you are looking for a fan which blows enough air to dry your hair, you might not be happy with this as its air movement is limited based upon its size, which is to be expected. I am also pleased the fan articulates in a variety of positions so its usefulness seems assured. Dont know what else to say. Its a fan like described, moves the air, runs on battery power, has a mounting clamp which seems well made and holds the fan in the positions where I use it. As long as you are realistic about this fans output, which seems in line with its size and battery power, I would think most who purchase this would be satisfied. I know I am............

So I had the great idea of attaching this to my little buddy heater (why I bought it). I wasnt too impressed with the heat radius of my little buddy heater when in the garage. I bought and attached this little fan to it and its made a huge difference circulating the heat. It doesnt get too hot while clamped to the top of it. I dont leave it un attended when in use but can see someone not attaching it correctly and melting it to their heater or even starting a fire. I use this fan more than I thought I would elsewhere as well.... attach to lawn chair, in the tent, desk, etc. It always lasts longer than I use it for as long as its fully charged. If it ever breaks, Im definitely buying another one. Ive owned it for over a year and havent had any issues.

Love the giant clip. Like the ability to turn fan forwards or backwards, left right up down! It stands up great. Clip is super strong. Battery stays charged a while, if you dont forget to turn it off the battery lasts maybe a week of moderate use each day. Fan has ex power, blows strong, large degree of air. Its good looking as well! :) Its a great lil fan

Overall a great fan, but we have had issues with the customer service after one of the fans we ordered did not have the battery (rendering the fan useless). It has taken over a month to try to get just a rechargeable battery, but still no luck.
