This fan I bought to use during workouts at the gym. The battery life lasts about 2-3 hours at full charge. I work out for about 2 hours at a time so it serves its purpose. Just have to remember to charge it every day. It blows at a decent pace on full blast at least enough to keep the sweat from dripping down my face It clips well as it has a wide clip mouth and also the fan head swivels in every direction so that no matter where or how you have to clip the fan you can move the fan head to blow what ever direction you wish Comes with the charging cord that will plug into about any charger head/cube and also into most modern vehicles.

This item is compact, portable and has a variety of ways to mount. Fan cools you wherever you need it. My only dislike is the rubber clamp feet could be constructed from vibration damping material- When clamped to the bed headboard it is effective at cooling but the vibration sound keeps me awake.

At first I thought this was just a regular fan with a clip. I was wrong: this clip is so strong, so it won’t fall off when my baby tries to knock it it off, like he does everything (he might be part cat). Then I turned it on and on the high speed (usually what I’m using it on since we use it for outside, beach and park days) it blows such a strong air that my baby (and myself) can stay cool in HOT weather. Here’s the eco part, at first i was annoyed because i didn’t catch the details about the battery until I received it. On high speed it only last 4-5 hours and if I’m not near an outlet I can’t recharge it. Then I thought of all the batteries that get thrown in our landfills a year when they are not properly disposed of (and what really happens to the ones that are). So i bo Got 2 more rechargeable batters for $6 a piece and I not have 12 hours of high speed fan action and I’m no longer stuck with a drawer full of dead batteries and worryif about where they will end up! Definitely get this fan, look not more! Just buy a back up battery or two and you will be set of all day cooling!

I’ve used this on my peloton bike for the last 12 months. All of a sudden it’s no longer charging. It seems like the charging port has gone bad. The battery life would last around 1 hour on high. It was powerful enough to keep me cool but would die if I did longer than an hour long workout. I’ve upgraded to a new fan that has a much longer battery life. This was fine for the year it worked. You get what you pay for.

I bought this fan to have a little extra noise for sleeping. The noise level is good (not too high pitched for its size) and the fan power is good for its size. Its nice that it comes with a USB cord so you can have it plugged in at the house. I use it for camping as well and without an outlet it lasted for maybe 4 hours. Then it turns off and on throughout the night. The light indicating power seemed unnecessary; I know its on because the fan is on. Was going to take it apart and carefully remove the light from the circuit...instead stuck a paperclip in the hole and broke the light which worked fine.

Wanted a little fan just to move some air around as I usually eat my lunch in my vehicle. It did work, but was kind of annoying at higher fan speeds and the battery compartment cover promptly fell off and got lost. I eventually replaced it with a larger fan that pushes more air almost silently. I did recently use it during the CA blackouts just to blow a little air while trying to sleep. Little air movement is much better than hot dead air. Lasted most of the night. I was happy to have it. Think it would be good to clip on work desk just to have a little airflow. Too noisy and small to move more air than a very slight breeze without being annoying.

I assumed this would be small, lightweight, convenient and not very powerful. It checks all those boxes. I use it in my Jeep to blow on my face while working or cooking, either for cooling or to drive away mosquitoes. It does the trick. It stands up on its own, swivels well, and the clip is sturdy and can attach well to flat objects an inch thick (have not tried it on a round object, such as a pipe). The breeze it generates on high (youll probably always use it on high) is about what youd expect from a plastic fan whose blades are just 3-4 inches in diameter. But its easy to store and handy to move around and situate on a flat surface or clip to something. Holds a charge for at least 4 hours on high (have not tested beyond that, but the advertised life means Ill be recharging daily when in use, I suspect). Ill be testing it out camping and prolly might prefer something bigger and more powerful, but for the price, Im happy with it.

Current usage update: So, we had bought 3 of these fans and now, after two years, we are down to just one now. Although they are great, they just don’t last. Keep in mind we use them for about two hours at a time and maybe once a week on average. One, with the dial on the base and two batteries had just stopped working and the other one with a single battery had issues with the usb connection. I think it might be soldered poorly and makes intermittent contact which worried me so I stopped using it. I am about to order another. Regardless, these are pretty great when functioning. The only irritating thing is that if they are plugged into an external battery the fan speed is poor compared to when it is just running off its own battery. I even tried removing the battery and running it but still runs poorly. We just keep them charged and run them full blast and plug them in when we stop. On camping trips in the north east, these are great for the kids. Our external packs kept them running all night. Hence my average on 2 hours once a week. We don’t use them during the winter, spring or fall. UPDATE: SkyGenius had contacted me and offered to replace the fan. The new one came in and I had turned it on and let it drain. After it drained, I had recharged it and it worked again just as long. The output is great and fairly quiet. Our baby likes the extra air movement when shes in the stroller and we have to cover her up due to the sun. Shes a ginger with sensitive skin. Id give SkyGenius a perfect 10 in trying to remedy this faulty fan! Customer Service was top notch. I bought this fan exclusively for our road trip to Boston for when our 13week old baby needed a little extra air. It worked great until the battery die after first use and I tried to recharge it. It never recharged again and the light (assuming a light that shows the charging status) never comes on. This this is now useless and Ive gone past the return period since we were traveling for a few weeks. Junk. At least this one.

I bought a fan nearly identical to this one at Toys R Us and use it on a baby carrier. That Toys R Us fan is okay, but the motor is not very strong and does little to cool the baby during summer months. I also tried to use it to get breeze in a tent while camping, and it was worthless for that. So, when I saw the glowing reviews for this similar fan on Amazon, I thought I would give it a try, hoping that the motor would be more powerful. I was not disappointed. Holding the two fans side by side, the top speed of this Amazon fan is about twice that of the Toys R Us fan. This Amazon fan provides quite a bit of airflow for such a small device. I also love the fact that it can be recharged by USB. Our family has USB plugs everywhere, including the car. Its just so easy to plug this fan in for a few minutes to top off the charge. Finally, this Amazon fan is more flexible and can point in just about any direction. I was initially skeptical of this fan because virtually all of the glowing reviews (at that time, about 70% of them) were from people who had received a benefit for reviewing the product. I hate that practice and wish Amazon would shut it down. Ive been burned before by buying a product with glowing reviews only to find that the product stinks and the reviews were bogus. Why not let a good product speak for itself? Despite my skepticism, this fan basically lives it up to the hype. Its a little flimsy/lightweight, but it has a powerful, adjustable speed motor and convenient USB charging. Id recommend it. (And for the record, Im just a regular Amazon customer who paid full price for this thing based on the good reviews.)
