Battery Operated Clip on Mini Desk Fan, Black

I really love this fan and now have four of them. The new ones have a wheel to turn on and change the power level whereas the old ones had a button with three speed options. I’m on the fence as to which way I preferred. The one tiny issue I’ve experienced with both models if this fan is the battery compartment cover comes off really easily and then the battery falls out. Just the slightest bumping of the fan can cause this to happen. It’s not going to stop me from using them or possibly buying more because I can always put some gaffer tape on the back, but it is a pain. The features I like about this fan is that not only does it clip on, but it can sit on a flat surface, as well. The rechargeable battery has a decent life, but not long enough for an entire day, especially if you have it on a higher speed level. It has great rotation so that you can pretty much sun it at whatever angle you need. I use these fans fir my dogs when we’re in the car because the A/C never seems to reach the back. I also clip on on the edge of a table on those hot and humid days when I need some extra air circulation in my office or wherever I am…indoors or out. Perfect for clipping on an umbrella in the backyard or on a stroller.

If this were any smaller, youd blink and miss it - 7 tall, 5 1/2 wide. The clamp opens to 1 1/2, and has a very strong spring - it will stay wherever you put it. You can also set it on a table or desk without using the clamp, and the fan itself can be turned through 360 degrees to fit your needs. While its listed as a good fan for hooking on to a stroller, its good for other things as well - Ive got it hooked to the edge of the desk, aimed at the base of my laptop for those times when Im gaming and the computer heats up. Its also a good personal cooling fan... just aim it in the right direction, and you might not even need A/C. It will hook into *any* standard USB port - Ive connected it to my BluRay player on those nights when its gotten a little too humid, and it keeps me cool while watching movies. The battery holds a charge for a good long while (though I havent timed it), and it does have a charging light on it. The only real problem is that the fan is just a little slower, a little less powerful when its connected to something via USB - but if the battery is fully charged, disconnect the USB cable and it kicks up a notch. Its just a little big to fit in my computer bag, but it doesnt take up a lot of room otherwise, and its definitely a good value for the price.

This item is compact, portable and has a variety of ways to mount. Fan cools you wherever you need it. My only dislike is the rubber clamp feet could be constructed from vibration damping material- When clamped to the bed headboard it is effective at cooling but the vibration sound keeps me awake.

Nice quiet fan but would be a better value at $15.

I didnt get to ue this product right away. I have used it now for about a month. This item is terrible. A total rip off. Dosnt hold a charge. It says you can use it plugged into a power source. It slows it down considerably ! I cant return it a totally loss of my money. Stay away. This is not a B.S. review. Trust me, stay away! AMAZON... I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!

I work at a beach bar and I use this fan on my break while sitting in my car. It doesn’t even last an hour on a full night of charge.

The fan works well and blows as hard as you would want for something near your desk. Very versatile. Can be angled in any direction. Battery life seemed sufficient as Ive often run it for 4+ hours without plugging it in. Only issue is the USB charging port may be a bit touchy. To be fair, I have had it over 2 years. But, after awhile, I noticed the light was no longer turning on when I plugged it in. I thought the battery or cord might have gone bad before I realized the issue was the connection at the port. I can still get it to charge but only by rigging the charging cord to provide consistent gentle pressure on the port in the right direction. I would recommend not moving it more than necessary while plugged in and treating the charging port gently. Overall good fan, just dont expect the charging port to last forever.

We have had this fan for a year and it works like a champ. It was purchased for our trailer as one sleeping area is a little stuffy. The fan has a strong clip and swivels nicely to wherever you want to aim it. We tend to leave it plugged into the usb but it has never given us problems when we use the battery. Our family sleeps with fans on and this is not your average desk fan. It does have some velocity and a little more noise. It is great for some white noise but maybe not for you if easily bothered by fan noise.

Great for travel. Used it on trip to Italy during heat wave and it did great job as a fan while I slept. Battery would be dead by time I woke up, but that didn’t cause any problems and I recharged during day. Small enough for packing away on long flights and the lithium-ion battery is removable to place in carry on. Great for international trips.

this fan has a couple features that make it a 5-star product in my view. 1) from a full charge, on the lowest speed, this fan will run for 6+ hours. and ive found that the lowest speed is very powerful and quiet - great if youre running it while sleeping - so i doubt ill ever need a higher speed which might drain the battery more. set on low, the amount to air/breeze is plenty! 2) the clip is super strong - such an important feature! i accidentally left the fan clipped inside my car and went for a drive on a mountain road and it never budged an inch! thats a big one for me. 3) versatility - you can clip the fan to anything and it can be turned, rotated 360 degrees in virtually any direction so you can direct the air flow exactly where you want AND it will hold there! it wont move. it is a perfect, quiet cooling addition to my Honda Fit. highly recommended from a picky car camper.
