> 3 dayShoots quite the shower of Sparks. Much easier to start a fire with this than with the tiny rods found elsewhere. Paired it with the Defender Xtreme 12 Bowie knife and it works amazing. Attached a paracord through the hole in the rod and keep it tied to the knife sheath. Definitely recommend this thing

> 3 dayIts a solid fire steel! Even though the description spells out the dimensions its bigger than you realize and is fairly weighty as well. The sparks flung off of it are white hot and stay glowing for a few seconds and had no trouble of igniting the plethora of materials that I used it on. Its a great product, works well, and I recommend getting one or two. I wish the lanyard hole was just a bit bigger to make standard paracord go through it a bit easier.
