14-06-2025I received my bayite firesteel today. As the description states, its quite large and after scraping the painted layer, it throws a huge amount of sparks. Its heavy enough to fend off an attacker. Great purchase ! ♥️ You def cant go wrong for the money.

> 3 dayWow! Never did I expect this rod to work as well as it does! A must have item for anybody serious about starting a fire in the backwoods. Just scrape off a small spot of the protective coating and get your tinder ready. Will be getting more of these for gifts for family and friends.

> 3 dayThicker than a typical pen and solid. You get what you pay for, best rod Ive ever used. Great for an EDC, camping, backpacking or wherever you need to throw sparks, especially with cold hands. Pro tip: wrap a few feet of duct tape neatly and tightly around one end to make a nice handle and to have some adhesive in case you ever need it. Buy this!!

> 3 dayI have no complaints about this fire stick. I started a fire with it to test it out. Took a little practice to learn but it will start a fire just fine, and it seems like it should last a long time. The sparks are hot and plentiful, but left tiny little scorch marks on the back of my knife... no big deal you can hardly tell now. I bought 2, and am happy I did. Tinder is a big deal, the finer the better.
