> 3 dayI use this plug to connect my patio string ambient lights, so I can turn them on and off even when I am away from home. Very easy to connect to WIFI. I control them with the BNLINK app. which I find to be very easy to use. I am surely going to buy more same smart plugs for use in other parts of our home.

Greater than one weekIts negative 6 degrees (F) in Maine this morning. I dont have to go outside to plug mats in to defrost snow, just have to tell Alexa to turn heated mats on, she says okay and the snow melts off porch and steps.

> 3 dayThis was so easy. We have Smart WIFI indoor outlets from BN-Link, and use those all the times. Glad my daughter suggested one for our outdoor Christmas lights. We usually are home to turn them on and off. However, on the occassion when we are arriving at our home and it has turned dark - we like to see our Christmas lights all lit up over the house. Why should the neighbors be the only ones to enjoy the lights? I already had the app installed on my phone to control the indoor outlets, so this particular outlet was easy to add. I just set a daily schedule to turn on around 4:45-5:15 (depending on the month) and then to go off at certain times during the week and a little later time on weekends since that is when we are typically out and about.

> 3 dayI bought this to go with some string lights I installed over my patio. I was specifically looking for something that could be controlled via Bluetooth because I live in a two family house and wanted both apartments to be able to control it without having to be on the same Wi-Fi network or share a physical remote. I also didn’t want to worry about batteries or losing the remote, so phone app control seemed ideal. After reading other reviews saying Bluetooth didn’t work I was concerned, but bought it anyway because I didn’t find good alternatives with Bluetooth. The apps and the process of connecting them to the dimmer is the only criticism I have. After installing the manufacturers app I couldn’t get it to work with Bluetooth, but once I installed the Smart Life app the Bluetooth controls worked fine. It also worked well via Wi-Fi and via Google Home by voice command. If you are entirely non-technical just buy one with a physical remote. By the way, I did not try to set it up initially using bluetooth. All settings are retained after being unplugged, so if you plan to use it with bluetooth you dont need WiFi to reach the area where youll actually be using it. I plugged it in inside my house, configured it via WiFi and then moved it to the outdoor location. The dimming function was excellent but it turns out the lights at their brightest are just fine, so I don’t anticipate using the dimmer function — I’ll just be using the physical on/off switch on the unit. It is still a great deal for me as it is a great price even just for a waterproof outdoor switch.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these for our Christmas lights. Easy to install. I did have to purchase a Wi-Fi extender because one of the plugs was too far from the house which I didn’t anticipate. Once I installed the extender, we didn’t have any connectivity issues.
