Boltsize-It Gauge, Blue

Just what I needed, sturdy and easy to read for identifying the myriad metric and SAE size bolts GM used in the 80s.

Needing to find out the size of a bolt, we got this and now Im not sure how we did without it. There are a surprising number of opportunities to replace lost hardware and this little device has an amazing number of options for figuring out bolt and nut sizes. Not expensive and worth every penny!

This is a great tool for anyone that uses a massive variety of screws, nuts or bolts at work. Its sturdy enough to be thrown into a tool bag filled with metal tools and not get damaged.

Usefull

saves me time ... I dont use it much but comes in handy(like any tool) when it is needed.

I didnt find this plastic gauge useful, particularly the thread measure was hard to use accurately.

This is great to find the right bolt, screw or nut for the repair or fabrication task at hand. I use this to replace a few broken cheaply made (china grade bolts) that came on some kids swing sets. With this tool, I was able to go to the hardware store and buy the right bolts (grade AA American made)

I purchased two of these: one for my shop and one for my tool trailer. This gauge is well made.
