Boltsize-It Gauge, Blue

Have you ever gone to the store to pick up those nuts, bolts and washers you need only to find you guessed wrong on the sizes. Well I have. Never do that again and know exactly what you have and/or need with this simple inexpensive tool.

This is good for getting a general idea of your screw/bolt diameter, but the holes are very sloppy. For example, is your bolt 8mm or 5/16? You cant tell because it wiggles around in both of the holes. The thread gauge is pretty worthless and is off by at least 1 size. I regret purchasing this unit.

Very handy item to have around to identify nuts and bolts. Well made and markings are clear. It will come in handy at times.

Exactly as pictured (blue color as on main product page). As I pointed out in my comments on the top two reviews, the whole label controversy is much ado about nothing and can be easily remedied. If you look closely at this and compare it to the one currently being sold at Amazon for over twice as much, youll notice the basic shape and gauges are exactly the same. The difference is, this less expensive one includes more measurement guides than the more expensive. I suppose it is a matter of personal preference, but when it comes down to a choice between the two, this one easily gets my vote.
