Greater than one weekIve had several of these boosters and cannot say enough good things about the customer service of this company! I bought my first bubble bum from amazon. Due to (minor) crashes I have needed to replace it twice and both times bubble bum helped me get either a new inflatable bladder or a new seat (depending on their recommendation) right away. They even offered me a replacement booster for the cost of shipping. Thanks to Fintan (and the rest of the bubble bum team) my new bubble bum is ready for a rider. It has positioned the seat belt great on both children I have tried it with and is easy to infate and deflate. I find shoulder belt adjusters on backless boosters generally annoying but the one of the bubble bum works pretty well. The kids love riding in this booster and actually asked to use it for a several hour trip to the beach rather than their regular boosters.

> 3 daySeemed like an unsafe idea at first but it’s safety rated which sold me. Traveling with it on a plane is amazingly easy and easy assembly upon arrival. No more lugging large and heavy car seats through airports again! It was such a deterrent to travel before for that reason but no longer!

> 3 dayWhile the concept is lovely for travel, the seat didn’t stay in place. It slid out from underneath my kids butts and proved useless on the first ride in our rental car. We drove straight to a big box store and bought replacement seats with a base that doesn’t slide. Even with the strap in the clips on the sides and the back strap for the shoulder strap, it just gets tangled once the kids started to slide. Just as a note for future buyers: This might be my own poor understanding of the product description and photos, but I had thought the inflatable portion was optional and there was still some structure to the seat. I would have not purchased the seat had I known it doesn’t have any structure aside from the air you put in it.

> 3 dayWe took these when we flew. Used both on the plane and in the car. Was very easy to set up. Light weight. Easy to put back in the bag and deflate. Definitely enjoy having these for travel.

> 3 dayThis is our third Bubble Bum. We had to retire one early because a kid thought it was brilliant to poke some holes in it. The Bubble Bums are very portable, wide enough to fit the kids, but a little narrower than the super wide plastic boosters, which is a big deal for us since on some days we sit three across in two rows of our van (total of six kids in back), and no one feels like they are being unduly squeezed like we saw with the chunky seats. They inflate relatively easy with one exception (talked about below). The kids all agree they are also more comfortable than the traditional plastic booster seats. Our five year old can buckle himself with this booster, including the recommended looping through the red guides/supports/whatever you want to call them on the sides. Overall, we are happier with these than the umpteen boosters we have tried over the years. Now for the down side. First off, when inflating, there isnt a one way valve, so you have to keep blowing in the silly thing while you close the valve, otherwise it deflates when you remove your mouth. That is a huge drawback, especially if you plan on deflating and re-inflating them all the time for the advertised portability. It does allow for easy deflation, but when inflated, they dont take up that much more space. They should have come up with a different plan so you can take your mouth off and not have the thing deflate. Second thing we noticed is that the foam on the underside of the cover degraded in just two years. It starts to come apart as a powder. It is not hugely noticeable, since I only saw it when I took apart the one with holes in it, but I would expect a longer lasting foam. Third thing is an annoyance. We bought the newest one at the end of October, 2021. I looked at the manufacturing date on the new one and it reads July 8th, 2019. Great. I just got a new product that has been sitting around for 2 years and 4 months. With something they tell me should only be replaced after 4 years of use, I am wondering what 2+ years in storage has done to it already...and under what conditions it was stored. Hopefully mine was just a box temporarily misplaced and most people are receiving fresh inventory, but I was not thrilled at all to receive something so stale. So, overall, we are happy with it, but those few drawbacks make it an okay product, kind of short of the excellence I was hoping for. Short of a new, better product out there, we would probably buy another one, not because they are so great, but because nothing else seems to shine as better.

> 3 dayI like that this product is very, light, easy, and very handy. We used it when we travel and needs to use uber or lyft. What i dont like it is its too low a little higher and bigger would have been great. By the way my daughter used this when we went to Disney world and had to wait for the parade. She was able to use this to seat on the pavement.
