> 24 hourCanon tends to make good products, and this is no exception. A very good printer for the price.

> 24 hourPrinter works fine. I have two other of these same printers on my other computers, and I am able to use the same ink cartridges on all of them. Thats a big plus.

> 24 hourI picked one of these up at Walmart years ago and have been happy with the quality of the prints, (though as others have stated, it does drink a lot of ink!). The main problem I have had started about a year after I got it. I dont use it very often, either. The front door ALWAYS triggers an error message that the door is not open and stops printing. This happens EVERY TIME, and the DOOR IS MOST DEFINITELY OPEN. I eventually have to actually sit next to the printer and hold the door down with force, in order to get the printing done. I have searched and havent found many other cases of this happening, so I have no idea what the issue is. I was always going to try to trick the sensor, but never got around to it. The quality is good, but I will probably go with an Epson next time around. I had Epsons first model color ink jet printer and it was a beast! Huge, heavy, and very expensive. But you know what? Even when I finally put it out to pasture when it was 12 years old, it still worked! It was a real workhorse. No more Canon printers for me.

> 24 hourThe first one I received didnt work right out of the box. A new one was sent which is fine. It is an attractive unit, however, in order to keep a supply of paper in it, you must open the top and front for operation which spoils the looks. I dont use it too much, so I just keep paper elsewhere and keep the unit closed.

> 24 hourThe Canon ip2600 is slow and the prints are quite mediocre, but its cheap, so what? Well, next time I would spend a few more dollars and have a much better machine. Dont believe the

> 24 hourHi, i was faithful to Canon printers, this was my 3rd canon printer... I hated Epson printers cuz since long time ago, the epsons automatic features and ink level sw were not accurate... this was the main reason why i have been faithful to canon printers... but not anymore, i had s200, ip1500, now this one... and seems to be that as others say, there are chips in each cartridge, and my original black and color cartridges are no longer recognized by the printer, the printer sw says there is no more ink, but there IS still ink left.... I guess canon become very greedy... shame on you canon... i was so loyal to your brand for nothing...

> 24 hourI bought this printer several months ago for thirty bucks at a big-box discount retail store. (Cant remember whether there was also a USB cable in the box; there might have been. I have plenty of them at home so its not a big deal for me either way.) At the time my main home printer was a fancy Canon multifunction inkjet. I got the IP2600 because its small and lightweight. Although not intended for use as a portable printer, it was easy to take along with my laptop, to the home of an older relative for whom I was doing some word processing. Including printing out 5 x 7 updated pages for her address/phone book. It was perfect for that project. Since that time, my older Canon multifunction inkjet machine bit the dust, and the new Canon multifunction inkjet I bought to replace it? Proved to be an unstable ink-gobbling diva and went back to Costco. As a result, this modest little printer has served as my main home printer for several weeks. I recently purchased a

> 24 hourSo me and the wife are in the Walmart and come across this printer for 30 bucks.......and Im thinking....whats the catch. So we pull out the Treo and consumer search it and its reviews are pretty good. Now understand if you put in low quality picture at this resolution it will look like its supposed too......LOW QUALITY. But the higher resolution pictures look unbelievable. They do not include the USB to Firewire cable and you only find out when you get home. It doesnt even tell you on the box that you need the firewire. Luckily I had one. The pictures look amazing on the Glossy II paper and since I work at a print shop with Half Million Dollar machines.....I can say this printer is Explosively Bang for your Buck. It comes with 4x6 photo paper and I will be cutting the 8.5x11 down to save some money. GREAT PRINTER

> 24 hourMy old printer died and I had a lot of ink cartridges for it. I am so glad I found a compatible printer for the cartridges and the printer works like a dream! And the price was reasonable!

> 24 hourWe are very pleased with our Canon photo printer. We printed photos off of the computer the first day we had it and they came out very clear and the colors were perfect. I will use this item for all my picture printing from my camera from now on. It will save me a lot of money since I have been printing pictures at WalMart for 28cents each. Glad we ordered the Canon machine and recommend it to others. Thank you.
