Canvas Messenger Bag - Vintage Cross Body Shoulder Satchel

This bag is awesome, i am tall and it worked for me. I tried few other messenger bags but nothing is as perfect as this bag. Its worth for the price

Albeit a bit smaller than I would have liked, the item is otherwise great/what i wanted/needed.

I admit that this review may not be catered to the audience that is usually prone to buy this bag, that being middle aged men but I still wanna help my artsy gurls. So Ive been looking for the perfect messenger bag that doesnt look like, well a middle aged man bag... anyways, so when I saw this bag I gasped because hallelujah my wishes have been answered. So without a second thought I clicked proceed to checkout and as I was waiting for my precious (lotr reference hehe) to be delivered I was having multiple doubts but all those doubts vanished when the bag was in my hand because WOW! The bag was the perfect dark olive brown color and there were many zippers and pockets! And yes the side pockets are very small but those are for show and I appreciate it. Regardless, the material itself is thick, hefty, and seems high quality. The bag itself is light weight but large enough to store almost anything in. However, I wish the company added a shoulder rest to the strap of the bag because as someone who has to carry my laptop in the bag everyday it gets uneasy.

This bag fits all my needs. Large enough compartment to store gym clothing, books and other accessories. Use it for work and play.

Excellent so far. Replaced a similar bag from LL Bean which Ive had for well over a decade and has been with me all over the world. This one is definitely built much more robust, so Im not too worried about its longevity.

Hlds everything I need.

This canvas and brass bag has high quality construction and heavy duty material. It holds a really surprising volume of stuff in numerous pockets and flaps, some zippered some worth Velcro colsures an best of all there are no straps with buckles or strings to fight or get hung up on things. The color is unobtrusive and neutral. Its appearance will only improve with wear and age. It is comfortable to wear leaving both hands free. It might be nice if one of the side pockets could accomadte a small beverage botlle?

A bit bigger than expected, however, very useful with so many pockets.

TL;DR: Very good daily bag, not waterproof, not for laptops (without added protection).
