Classic Messenger Bag - Durable, Water-Resistant, fits 13, 15, 17 Laptop

Ive carried the previous version of the Classic Messenger with me every day for three years. Its been my constant companion in my professional and personal lives, and its one of my few true cant-live-without-it items. After looking at the 2014 bag in person, I wavered for a couple of weeks on whether the new features were enough to justify a new bag. In the end, I decided they were and picked up the small bag in Carbon Full Cycle Twill. These four improvements together provided the tipping point:

I love this thing! I use it all the time. All the pockets and the comfort shoulder strap really make it a joy to use. The deep inner pocket is great for storing all my stuff, and the adjustable internal size is perfect whether youre carrying heavy text books or just an ultrabook and some cables. If you dont already have one, you owe it to yourself to get one.

Nice bag holds up very well

I searched and searched and finally pulled the trigger on this bag. Its well made and well thought out. Fits my laptop, my pistol, and all my daily carry items. Pretty happy with it. If it holds up as well as I think, it just may be the perfect bag.

Ordered this one after my first Timbuk2 bag arrived and it was a very different color in person than in the picture. This one is closer, though still not exactly the same. My only complaint is that I think this version, the 2014, seems a bit smaller than the 2013 version (I ordered mediums in both and compared). So far, its held everything I need though, so cant complain too much.

The best messenger bag , I have ever owned.

Older bag was fabulous - wide, sturdy strap, quick release for strap to completely remove, roomy/slightly bigger. This new version is so disappointing. Regardless, the older version and this version should have the non-scratchy velcro on the bag and the scratchy velcro on the flap - then my fleeces, etc., would not get caught up in the velcro. Expected that I wouldnt be as happy with this as the previous version of this bag (about 8 years old?), but thought Id give it a try...and indeed, am more unhappy with it than I expected and am returning it. If one never had the older version, Im guessing theyd be happy with this one (quality great, etc.).

When all I want to carry to work is a folio, a lunchbox, and one or two travel mugs of coffee, this is the perfect size. Rain does not get in it, the shoulder strap is comfortable, and it sits comfortably when slung across. Love it.

Got medium size. It is large, so can fit computer, water bottle, work paraphernalia easily . Also expandable. Comfortable adjustable shoulder strap. Recommend.
