Commute Messenger Bag

Great bag!

Its the perfect size for carrying essentials. My 13 Macbook Pro fits easily in the back pocket. The construction is bombproof.

Down to one star after I realized what it was doing to my nails.

This is the final messenger bag that I will get, because it seems perfect. It has a couple of coffee mug holders inside, and plenty of storage space. The strap is comfortable. The number of pockets is great, allowing you to store many items. Also, the zip on the back allows you to place your table or laptop in a separate location for quick and easy access. The only negative thing I can think of is the velcro is extremely loud when it is opened up. I am tempted to get a velcro blocker so I can just use the clasps on the bottom to close the bag. Overall, great build quality and I would definitely recommend this bag.

Fits under airline seats as a personal item. I like the amount of organization.

Very well made bag, Medium would have been a perfect size for a 15 laptop. However I have a 13 MacBook and felt it was not quite snug enough, so I am exchanging it for a small and hopefully that will fit better. Plenty of space in the middle for a neck pillow and the outside flap pocket is perfect for easy access to your boarding passes. I really like this bag & I will update once I try out the smaller size as well.

Typical Timbuk2 quality. You can beat on it, but you cant break it. At the same time it looks sharp all black as I walk the streets of Chicago in my Suit and Tie. It does well on the airplane as well. Fits right under the seat in front of me and has easy access pockets for a one handed access maneuver

I had bought the previous iteration of this bag (it got stolen)...the folks at Timbuk2 have made this version even better. Additional padded compartments in the back now allow for a Tablet in addition to a laptop being stored. Front pockets are better organized with two spaces for a phone and another device.

A little heavier than I expected but definitely sturdy construction. I expect many years of use from this bag, assuming laptop/pad pcs remain a travel item in the future.

Does NOT fit a 17 Thinkpad (See pics) - at least not if you try to put it in the padded compartment. It will fit in the large compartment, but this is not how the case is designed to be used. The padded compartment gets narrower towards the bottom and is nowhere near 17.
