> 3 dayIt feels so odd to lock food away from your child, but I was getting up in the morning and finding evidence that he was eating LOTS of sugar, etc in the night. (literally pouring milk and sugar in a glass to drink, so no, I cant just keep sugary treats out of the house) Pro tip - I first brought in a dorm refrigerator and labeled it for him. I told him that he could eat anything in that fridge at any time, and then only put in vegetables. :) On days when he is home for lunch, I also put a grain and protein item in there and he can eat it at any time he chooses. (a sandwich, a piece of pizza, a serving of a leftover). By doing this, the new refrigerator feels special to him and the locking up of the rest of the food a few weeks later was not so much of a punishment. I was also not going to deny a hungry person food, but made his free choice food that which has fewer calories. He does eat veggies well, so its not as though I gave him a choice of something he cant tolerate. He has a genetic deletion (16p11.2 micro-deletion) which predisposes him to obesity, but I am not going down without a fight. Hes lost six pounds in a month and is now merely overweight, instead of pushing the obese mark on the BMI charts. I highly recommend this to anyone dealing with an individual with a special need who just doesnt understand the relationship between food intake and weight gain/health.

> 3 dayIt does what it intended to do. The only downside is that 1 key opens all locks.

13-06-2025I put one on my outdoor fridge in my RV cause I had a fear of someone getting in there when we were away. Ended up putting one on my rv storage container and absolutely love it.

Greater than one weekWorks well, is basically a coated cable which slides into a stopper slot on the attachment pads. Deters very well. If someone truly wants to get past the lock, the could probably just use a putty knife to pry it, but it would probably be obvious it was tampered with. Note: It may be material to some to know that if the curve of the fridge door edge is wide enough, the flatness and rigidity of the plastic base my not allow it to adhere completely and/or that may in turn lead the lock loops not reaching far enough to line up ideally. Key: dry fit before removing the adhesive protectors. The arms Do bend enough for me and they are easily removed from the bases if you decide that you dont want to us le the lock for a while. Would recommend for sure. Kids cant sneak in to boost the summer ice cream like they have been, which is why I bought it.

> 3 dayThe instructions provided were great. They made it immediately plain that the install could fail if I didn’t read them before trying to put these on the fridge. The key is to press as hard as possible in order to activate the adhesive. My son has already tried to pry them off with no success.

> 3 dayI bought other locks on here a while ago and theyre great, however, these right here? These have easily become the new favorites for my Dad and I. Not only is the installation easy... (Im not entirely sure what to refer to them as) the bar that you have to hook the lock in to... yeah, that baby can be fully removed. So if you needed to pull it off for some reason, you can. Afterwards youd just have the part with the adhesive on the back of it sticking to the fridge. If you know what I mean. Anyways, these are absolutely amazing. Family on a diet or need to be on a diet after a certain time? Lock up your fridge with these. Youll be happy you did lol

> 3 dayI got a free fridge my neighbor left in the alley not too long ago and I thought to myself, hey self, you know what you need? Whats that self? A whole bunch of beer, duh! So I headed out and bought a whole fridge worth of beer and stocked that puppy up. Now I dont have all the space in the world at my house, so the fridge has to live outside next to my shed. Well, being the city dwellers that we are, there may or may not be a few ruffians living near our abode. My wife, being the brilliant person she is, told me I better lock that fridge up or Im going to be out a lot of beer! So far, my beer is still there, so Id say this lock is doing its job! Is it 5pm yet??
