> 3 dayThis luggage set held up to the transatlantic travel, the many stops in between, and back again with only a few bruises. After reading the reviews about wheels failing I was a bit concerned. I’m happy with the color selection too!

> 3 dayMy husband and I went on a cruise recently, and he took my old 24 Samsonite hardshell (which cost more than this whole set when new) while I took the 24 Coolife. He commented several times on how much lighter mine was than his, and how much more smoothly it rolled than the Samsonite. Great color, it easily stands out from the sea of black bags on the carousel. The shell feels a little flimsier than my old Samsonite, but held up well during its maiden voyage. A few scuffs here and there, but that is to be expected. Its roomy on the inside. Only two things would make this better. First, the chrome accents on the handles are not a practical choice - they were all visibly and obviously scuffed and scratched. It would wear much better if these were just solid black, or had a less fragile accent than chrome. The second thing would be the desire to replace the seat belt straps on one side of the bag with another zippered flap like on the other side. I had this on my old Samsonite and I used the heck out of it for a way to compartmentalize all my stuff. Other than that, Im very please with my purchase and Im looking forward to using the whole set on a trip to Australia and New Zealand in a few months.

10-06-2025My review is titled new life because people now have a new option for quality luggage kits and its called cool life, hence, new life. I spent in total about 12 hours of research (within a one week span) looking for a 3 piece luggage set that would be of high quality and not too hard on my pocket. With this Cool Life set, I feel people have a new brand to choose from other than Samsonite and the more expensive brands. All u hear about when searching for a luggage kit is Samsonite, Samsonite. I dont have anything against them, they make beautiful, superior quality luggage sets. In fact, I was about to take a bite myself and purchase the Samsonite Omni set. But Im glad I went for the Cool Life and saved a decent amount of money. If youre not a frequent traveler, then this kit is right for u. If you travel weekly, please dont purchase this set and then bash it up in a disappointed review. That would be misleading and unfair. But Im almost sure that if this set caught your eye its because of the low price, and at this point youve decided to dig into reviews because you want to know if youll be using your budget money wisely. Well I want to confirm that yes, great deals do exist at this price. I absolutely love mines and Im sure you will love yours too. When it arrives at your door step youll see just why this is an Amazons choice. I know all the reviews about hard shells breaking, smashing, etc make it awfully difficult to make a decision. These things will happen with any brand u choose to go with. No luggage is indestructible, but this one is backed by a pretty solid warranty and that alone gives peace of mind. Im glad I made this purchase and I want to recommend it to you. Theres just so much good things to say about it but if I write it all Ill be composing a story here and that wouldnt be too influential would it? Youre gonna have to do lots of research yourself, decide on a budget, select the features you want, and purchase. If u go with this one, rest assured you wont be disappointed. ** A word about the famous TSA approved locks. As I was passing thru the DFW international airport, I couldnt help but ask a TSA agent how this lock is friendly to them. He said look, I dont know whats the hype about these locks, but we, at least I, dont have any key whatsoever to open such locks. If there is something inside your luggage that we need to have a closer look at, were gonna find you and bring you to your luggage. But as far as us having a special key or code to open these, we dont. I was a bit disappointed because if there truly was an agreement/understanding between the TSA and luggage manufacturers, Im sure that agent would have given me the answer I was hoping for. I guess all I can say is, dont let this feature play a role in deciding which luggage u gonna buy. Good luck in your decision making cause I surely had a hard time!

> 3 dayI got this luggage and then our trip was canceled. So, I waited to write a review till I could use the luggage. I finally did and it does not stand up. On arrival I was happy with the luggage. Great look, wonderful color, lots of space, zippered divider, extended 2 year warranty, etc… Took it on a trip and found it doesn’t roll as well as my husbands (which is a different brand). His wheels also don’t stick out as much and are therefore less of a problem in overhead bins. I also think that contributes to it not wheeling as well and wanting to tip often when changing surfaces to leaning on two wheels and being pulled, instead of gliding along. The 2nd time I used the luggage the interior divider ripped below the zipper as I was zipping it. I’m not thrilled but, there is a 2 year warranty so I figured, not a big deal. It took me a bit to figure out how to contact them. Apparently it is all done through Amazon. For the rip in the lining (right below the zipper on the divider) they said that after “…Taking into account the long time and energy that it would take to process a return….” That I keep the product and they will give me a refund of $20 for the inconvenience. I let them know I don’t want $20, I want a fixed item. They wrote back and said after checking with a supervisor they can do $35 refund, but they only offer partial refunds for lining issues….. I’m not happy. Not with the product, the warranty or the customer service. Needless to say, I would not recommend and will be putting that partial refund towards a better quality of luggage from a different company. *****Update after the above review: After leaving a 1 star review Coollife called me and told me they they felt bad about the issue and wanted to offer me an additional $30 refund. I said okay, and then they told me I would need to delete my review or update it to 4-5 stars and then they would issue the refund. I politely told them that I would not delete or give them 4-5 stars for a $30 payment. I was then asked if I would update to 4-5 stars or delete my review for a new piece of luggage to replace the one that was damaged. I let them know I would delete my review but not upgrade their stars if they fixed it by replacing my 28” which is currently the problem. The man let me know they would send it as soon as I deleted it. I asked him to wait and took screenshots of my review before deleting it. I let them know I deleted it and then was informed that since I bought a set the luggage what they send will be different then what I bought since they will be sending one sold individually instead of in a set. I asked if it would be the same color at least and was told it will be similar. They then sent a link for me to choose. I bought a dark purple set. My options were: Caribbean blue, Charcoal, Radiant Pink, and Teal. None of which are even close to my color. I choose the Caribbean blue and will have a clashing set until I buy something else. I would say the replacement suitcase is a nicer piece than the set ones. More zippers inside the lining, a better lock, etc. However, I am upset that they didn’t tell me in advance and waited till I deleted my original review before giving me all the catch-22’s that I never would have agreed to. Also, I am upset that I had to fight with them to fix it in the first place. The set isnt bad for the price, but it wont last long term and isnt amazing. It is a middle of the road set where you get what you pay for.

> 3 dayBought luggage, attractive and lightweight but went to set the lock to our codes and not one of the three was I able to do that. Where you are to push down on there was nothing there to click so that we were not able to put our code in. Will have to use our own TSA locks on zipper pulls.

> 3 dayOrdered this set in purple... it is a very deep purple, not the bright purple that it looks like in the pictures. The set is very light, seems to maneuver ok on my kitchen floors. I havent traveled yet, so not sure how durable they are after a trip through the airport. The most disappointing thing was that the TSA lock on the smallest bag arrived broken. Now, Ill probably never check that bag, so it may not be a big deal, but it was still disappointing. The locks on the other two bags were easy to set and they work fine. Instructions were included, so Im not sure why others reported that the instructions werent there. Anyway, well see how they hold up after the four trips through the airport that are coming up. UPDATE: The first time through the airport, one of the wheels on the largest bag broke off. Im going to try to contact the manufacturer, since there is supposed to be a warranty. Well see what happens. UPDATE: Contacted this company about getting a replacement or a refund. They wouldnt give me a refund, but they did send a replacement suitcase free of charge. Its from a different set and not the same style or color, so my set doesnt match, but at least they did something to try and make it right, so I appreciate that.
