Corel WordPerfect Office Home & Student 2021 | Office Suite of Word Processor, Spreadsheets & Presentation Software [PC Disc]

This product requires some learning as different than the Microsoft Office products. I use Office 365 at work, it is so temperamental with explorer closing randomly in mid use as does the Excel and Access programs. I have definitely learned to save consistently. They came up with Share Point - repeated the same depth and naming conventions they did in the nineties with folders initially. Teams I have to close and re-open constantly. My team is not a Teams fan. Years ago - okay decades - I used to use WordPerfect in the work environment. I thought a better product back then so am going back to it on my new personal home use computer versus the one I use to VPN to work which I match to the work machine in theory hoping to not have compatibility conflicts. Been unhappy with Microsoft since they have gotten unstable and snoopy with the sharing across platforms. Guess what - I have not had random closures using WordPerfect. It is better priced. Less temperamental thus I am way happier. One downside I noticed on conversion is some date and time fields in Excel lost their formatting but once I converted from Excel to the WordPerfect product and back again it held. I even tried to talk my wife into switching but she was concerned about the learning curve. I can use in WordPerfect and convert to Office should I share with another. Yes, there is a learning curve but I am way happier. Go retro with a stabile product you own versus licensing that has to be renewed and you do not know what is going to break/change next. Their change is not always for the best. You do have a cost-effective stabile alternative to Office 365 - it is called WordPerfect Office.

Beats all other word processors hands-down. For me there is no real competition.

Over a 30 year user of WP in the legal field. If there is so something you cant get the program to do, read the book. I cant think of one thing it wont do. Had to reorder program because of computer crash and over the years I just documentation. This is great price. Slight delay in arriving but on the end of USPS and not the company.

The confirmation email did not include the serial number so i have not been able to complete the installation.

Better than MS Word

I bought this because I didnt want to keep giving money to Microsoft. There has to be another alternative to Word.

It is truly a shame MS Word became the standard of many offices. I have used versions of WordPerfect since before Windows and find it so much easier to control your work and final product. This new version is not much different from WP2020, so you have nothing new to learn. It seems the main improvement is how well it works with MS Office products. You will easily be able to work with documents prepared using other office suite software.

Easy to download and i was able to write letters right away!
