> 3 dayI dont understand why companies intentionally make provided PCs/Laptop fall asleep every ten minutes. Its annoying to need to unnecessarily log in multiple times per day when working from home giving me carpal tunnel. Well this resolves all of that and keeps my (Lync/Skype/Jabber) availability light on as left. The design of this is great for traveling. I had the larger style before and it broke because it stuck out further and would get in the way or dropped many times. Highly recommend this one.

Greater than one weekSo while working from home during the pandemic my boss required me to be signed into Skype all day long. Complete and total micromanagement if you ask me. So I went for searching for something like this I was totally skeptical but figured for 20 bucks I’d give it a shot and all I can say is it absolutely and totally 100% works! Also I thought it moved the mouse constantly but it does that it makes just a very slight move every couple of minutes so it’s not like your mouse is wiggling all over your screen it’s suttle and does the job.

> 3 dayThe target customer for this device is someone whose machine is so corporately locked down that the programmable feature of this device is not an option. So what is the out-of-the-box behavior? I wrote a quick program that tracks mouse movement and plugged this device straight from its packaging. (Milliseconds are shown after the decimal place.) Current time: 21:04:20.226 Current mouse loc: (490,177) Current time: 21:05:18.777 Current mouse loc: (486,177) Current time: 21:06:17.367 Current mouse loc: (487,177) Current time: 21:07:15.958 Current mouse loc: (490,177) Current time: 21:08:14.611 Current mouse loc: (485,177) Current time: 21:09:13.203 Current mouse loc: (487,177) Current time: 21:10:11.793 Current mouse loc: (489,177) Current time: 21:11:10.413 Current mouse loc: (485,177) Current time: 21:12:9.74 Current mouse loc: (486,177) So it looks like by default once a minute the cursor moves a random small distance from its current location horizontally.

> 3 dayWhen is worked it was a gem, awesome. But after a while there were problems. It would stop working so I would have to pull it out and reinsert it. It would work again for a while after that and then I would have to repeat. If you have only two usb slots like I do, you also have to remove it often in order to free up a slot. Here is where the build quality bites you. After numerous (Ill readily admit it was quite a few) unpluging and reinserting it, the thing fell apart. When the plastic thing breaks off the area to grab it to take it out is so tiny you have to get pliers to take it out. Im sure pliers arent the best for the structural integrity of the unit, but you cant do anything else. They are cheap, and maybe Ill buy another one with the mindset that they are disposable. When it works, it rocks.

> 3 dayKeeps a screen alive. Small... the only thing I might fault is that it seems oddly expensive for such a stupid little thing.
