Simple yet stylish in black (there are multiple variants of this basic case type). The synthetic fiber weave texture is vaguely reminiscent of a carbon fiber pattern in miniature and the clamshell halves feel sturdy. The storage flap has four slots for games (which you cant ID at a glance as the pockets are solid fabric) and a two-partition net for general storage. Theres not enough room to house your whole charger, but the USB cable will fit, as will multiple game and memory cards. So far, I have 8 games in mine. The carabiner included is decent quality, although it doesnt like to stay hanging from the small end of the loop. Wasnt sure my Vita with TPU skin case would fit, but it does, snugly. That was a great bonus.

For the price, this travel case is tough to beat. And for $10, there are some expected minor construction issues, in particular the stitching. The belt loop on the sample I received was stitched at an off angle (the entire belt loop, not the stitching holding the belt loop in place). Not a problem for me since I have no intention of ever wearing this on my belt, but it does indicate a slight lack of attention to detail and care from the factory worker who did the stitching. The stitching on the game card pockets on the inside flap was particularly sub par and popped when inserting a game card, probably they are stitched onto a loose mesh material. The rear mesh tends to catch corners as well, making it difficult to easily slide game cards in place. The insert flap is made out of a neoprene-like foam material and should provide minor padding for the PSV. The mesh stitched onto the insert forms two pockets for storing headphones, a cleaning cloth or a memory card case. The case is made out of thermo-molded sheets of EVA plastic covered with nylon weave on the outside and a soft, low pile nylon lining on the inside. The PSV fits very snugly inside, making it about a slim as possible for a semi-hard shell case that should provide a higher degree of impact protection than a soft nylon sleeve or bag, and a higher level of crush protection due to the semi-rigid shell. It is not a hard case made out of rigid plastic. Design-wise, there was enough care made to include features like the belt loop and a removable lightweight carabiner to attach the case to a bag or belt loop, but neither are really necessary since the overall size of the PSV is more conducive to slipping into a bag or inside jacket pocket. There are two elastic straps sewn into the bottom of the case to hold the PSV in place, presumably to keep people from dumping their console on the ground if theyre holding the case upside down or sideways when opening it. Again, not really necessary and they take extra time to slip on and off. Many will probably end up snipping them off since they never use them, but its possible to just drop the PSV on top of the elastic straps as if they werent even there and the case still zips ups easily. The double zipper has a smooth action. The case lies between a nylon sleeve that mostly provides scratch protection and a hard shell case that provides impact and crush protection. Since the case fits snugly, it adds minimal bulk for those who dont want a blocky hard case or a padded nylon bag large enough to store everything including the PSV AC adapter. Overall, its a perfect slim fit holster for the PSV that works well as a permanent protective storage unit when not being used or plugged into a charge cradle. I would gladly pay $20 for the same design with better construction, better stitching, better game card pockets, a higher quality liner (like the material used in the Madcatz 3DS case), but for $10 it pretty much met expectations and fit the bill perfectly as a place to keep the PSV at home and on the go.

I dont have a lot of bad things to say about the product other then I really wish the inside of it was a more softer texture. I also find it hard to take it out, I find myself taking one strap off and like having to pop it out from there. So theres not a lot of breathing room to take it out on. I also wish they wouldve replaced the straps with something else to hold the PS Vita in because my analog sticks seems to get stuck on it quite a bit. But on the good side, it does do its job of keeping it protected and I havent seen any scratches from me taking it out of the case so far. The flap on it makes for good storage for games I would wanna take along on a trip and my screen cleaner I picked up. Its a nice simple in-expensive case and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a case that just gets the job done.

This case is only perfect if you dont plan on carrying your charger with you. The usb charger will fit but barely. It has a limited amount of slots for your cartridge games and they are loose but other than that, I am very satisfied.

I can store up to 4 game cards inside it (in the flap it has inside) and it also has a little mesh bag to store other games (thats what I am going to do at least) The outside of the case feels soft tothe touch and the inside is also soft. No risk of scratching your PS Vita. It has 2 elastic straps that makes it even more secure. Someone said you can play with your vita inside this case, that is true to some extent... but if you need the bumpers or the back touch screen then you wont be able to use it (Frobisher Says and Mod Nation are 2 games that I have that cant be played while the console is inside the case) The construction feels solid and protective. I havent tested it... Im not crazy, but I trust it enough to throw it inside my backpack without worrying that my pens are going to scratch the screen or that the weight of the ASUS ROG is going to crush it. If youre looking for an inexpensive and solid case, I recommend this. 5/5 stars

Great Case for the Vita. This has several slots for the game cards and secures them very well. The console has to be removed from the case to play it, but it is pretty simple with the two elastic straps. The case provides good protection to the console and comes with a small carabiner to secure the case. The zipper and material are good quality.

Its generally a good case; nothing too fancy. Fits the Vita 2000/slim well, is fairly sturdy, and at a decent price. The inside straps arent very useful, as its very difficult to get the Vita in/out of them, but they also arent necessary. The downside: a STRONG chemical smell. I saw other reviews mention it before buying, but figured it wasnt a big deal. However, after multiple dryer sheets and liberal use of febreeze, the smell is still there. It even clings to the Vita itself for quite a while after removing it from the case. Its not the end of the world, but is bothersome enough to make me consider another case.

Things I look for in a case: 1. Does it protect my PS Vita? Yes. 2. Does it hold a couple of games? Yup. 3. Is it compact enough to not make me angry when trying to fit it into my messenger bag when I travel? Yes. My overall impression of this case is that it does a great job at what it is supposed to do. I like the hard shell that keeps my Vita from getting banged up when I travel and I think the overall construction of it is pretty solid. The only thing that I did to this case when I bought it was to cut out the elastic band that you can use to secure the Vita even more. I found they were pretty useless and got in the way. Five seconds and a pair of scissors solved that problem though. Get this case, it works well and is fairly inexpensive!

No issues with smell like some others have mentioned. Case is of good quality and protects the Vita very nicely and fit is good. I dont use the game or mem card holder so I cant really comment...they are too small for my fingers to get any use out of them. I would recommend to anyone looking for some protection when traveling with the Vita. Its like a shell but not a plastic...I think it will last as long as I have the vita.

A perfect fit for my new Vita (slim). There was no smell and I guess I dont mind the straps that fit just to outside of the left and right of the screen. They dont show them in the product picture so maybe they arent a good selling point but the case is handsome, solid and very offers great insulation from drops or bumps. The flap that covers the screen carries memory cards and games and the zipper is robust and opens and closes with a feeling of assurance. it just works. No complaints!
