This is a great case. It has enough space in it for a few games, the charger, and some headphones (and the Vita, obviously). What could be better is the little straps that secure the Vita. These are kind of annoying to move when removing the Vita. I havent decided if Ill cut them or not. They hold the device in place in case you open it carelessly. Ill give it another week or two and see how I feel about it. With the exception of the straps, this is a fantastic case at a great bargain.

ok ive read reviews on this and every one was saying that it sucks but i like it. first: yes it does have a smell but its not as strong as everyone was saying. put some nugs in there and it will be good!!! second: everyone was complaining about the straps and how they mess with the sticks or cover the screen. they dont im not going to cut them off. they are a pain in the butt to get the vita out of the case but thats what their there for so and third: the game slots are for games not memory cards way to big for a memory card if your going to keep one put it under the ps vita. it holds my vita few games and my cord for my beats so i like it

This is a nice enough case for your Vita. Its not quite a hardshell but it isnt soft either – I dont hesitate to throw it into my backpack loose with other items. There is a little fold out divider and pockets for a few games but there isnt quite enough room to fit the (admittedly, pretty big) Vita power adapter. You could probably fit just the USB cable, but Id prefer a case that would hold everything.

Honestly, I wasnt expecting a whole lot from this case given how inexpensive it was, but Im pleasantly surprised. It is quite stiff, and feels like it provides a decent amount of protection. I keep my Vita in a messenger bag or backpack when I travel, so I mostly just wanted something slim to protect it from slight bumps from other things in my bag. This case fit the bill. I have 16 game cards in it, and Ive stretched out the slots a bit, but it seems fine. The slots for the cards are pretty low-quality, but you could easily put a plastic card carrier inside if it that was a concern.

OK, so assuming you get the right case from Amazon (it should be all black, with no graphics anywhere), this is a really nice case. I got the right one delivered March 14, so hopefully that situation is resolved! 1.) It doesnt smell at all. Im not sure why some peoples cases are smelling bad, but I have a really sensitive schnoz and I smell nothing. Which was surprising to me, since I was ready for the worst! 2.) It fits the Vita perfectly, and theres a little barrier between the zippers and the system so you wont be scratching your Vita up. But... 3.) The elastic straps are HORRIBLE! Absolutely the worst. It made it a small nuisance to get the Vita into the case, and a right nightmare to get it out. However, I just took a pair of scissors and snipped the elastic parts off and problem solved! No issues now, and you cannot tell the elastic was ever there in any way, shape or form. 4.) The build quality could be a bit better. I had to cut a few threads off, and the game slots arent super-high quality. But they do the job. Overall, the key thing is your Vita is well protected, and for how cheap this case is you really are getting something that works. And thats more than can be said for Sonys own travel pouch which is a flimsy nightmare and double the price... 4 stars out of 5.

What I like about the case *fits vita securely *has slots for games *could stuff the cable in to charge off computer *a lot smaller than the sony cases *comes with clip if that is your thing Things to consider *straps arent needed and I feel like am going to mess up the dual analogs de-strapping, I just dont use them. *came with giant graphic on the front unlike the picture which is all black Synopsis Good case, doesnt need the straps, yours may not look like the picture (Amazon snafu it seems)

The case is really sturdy and it holds the vita very well. It will definitely survive a moderately far drop without any kind of damage. The only thing I dislike about it, is that the elastic inside that is supposed to hold the vita is annoying as it grabs the joy stick when you try to remove the vita. I avoid this by just placing the vita on top of the elastic bands. Also the netting that is on the flap is pretty small, not really suitable for anything other than a pair of ear buds. There is also 4 game cartridge slots on the flap that hold the game cartridges in place nice and tight so there is no chance theyll fall out when opening. Other than that its a great alternative to the rocketfish hard plastic case that wasnt in stock at the time of purchase.

The flap that holds games feels stiff and is tucked into the top more than advertised. May just be a bit of a nitpick but its something to know. Fits the 1000 model well so I assume itd fit the 2000.

I bought this to hold my Vita when I am out and about. I put it in my small tablet bag with other various electronics and it fits very well. The case itself is quite sturdy and I like the carabiner option. My one complaint is the lack of a way to hold extra memory cards, as my library is mostly digital. I did remedy this with another product that fits in the case, however. Update: The carabiner option has become too damaged to be safe anymore. The cloth strap holding the biner has nearly ripped off on one side because the case does not sit flat when hanging from the carabiner. Seeing as I did not use it that way very much, I am not terribly upset, but I am disappointed. Otherwise, this case has been pretty great.

Great, relatively slim case for protecting my vita. The slim vita will sit more snug inside the case than my original one, but it works well for protecting my console for transport. It has 2 larger mesh pockets and 4 slots for game cards. I havent used the mesh pockets for anything as they wont hold any charging cables, but I did try out the game card slots. I would not recommend placing a game card in the slots available though. I had a game fall out and get lost. Thankfully, I lost the card at a friends place and was able to get it back, but I wont be placing games in this case anymore. I think this case is best if i am just taking the vita without any need for a charger or accessories. I have a different case I like if I want to actually carry a charger or go on a trip. Still, this is my favorite case for carrying around my vita for play on the go. It slips easily into a purse or backpack without a lot of effort. For reference, I own 2 other vita cases. The first is the hard, big clunky hard plastic version officially endorsed by sony. This plastic case is a tank. It probably provides the most protection for my vita, as this case would survive quite a bit. However, considering that it carries 3 game cards, a memory card, and just the vita itself, it is much too large and heavy for me to choose this case on a regular basis. Still, as I own 3 vitas now, its still helpful to keep around. The other case I have in addition to this case is the Smatree P100, which is an excellent case for longer trips or travel. It seems like this one is made of similar material to the CTA case, but is much thicker and has a zippered pocket, which can accommodate my charger and a couple other items. It comes with more game card slots than the CTA, but I have not yet tested these for how well they hold the cards. It looks like they will hold more snug than the CTA one though. However, unlike the CTA, which has elastic bands to hold the vita system in place, this case has an easy lift out tab, so that you can grab the vita quickly, which leads me to believe I should be relatively careful to open this case on a flat surface.
