Greater than one weekWhat I like about the case *fits vita securely *has slots for games *could stuff the cable in to charge off computer *a lot smaller than the sony cases *comes with clip if that is your thing Things to consider *straps arent needed and I feel like am going to mess up the dual analogs de-strapping, I just dont use them. *came with giant graphic on the front unlike the picture which is all black Synopsis Good case, doesnt need the straps, yours may not look like the picture (Amazon snafu it seems)

> 3 dayI bought this to hold my Vita when I am out and about. I put it in my small tablet bag with other various electronics and it fits very well. The case itself is quite sturdy and I like the carabiner option. My one complaint is the lack of a way to hold extra memory cards, as my library is mostly digital. I did remedy this with another product that fits in the case, however. Update: The carabiner option has become too damaged to be safe anymore. The cloth strap holding the biner has nearly ripped off on one side because the case does not sit flat when hanging from the carabiner. Seeing as I did not use it that way very much, I am not terribly upset, but I am disappointed. Otherwise, this case has been pretty great.

> 3 dayI had read other reviews regarding this product... some reviews stated that the case had a really pungent odor that was so bad that the product needed to be returned. This was not the case with mine & it was the first thing that was paying attention too when I opened the package. I sniffed around the box before opening & it didnt smell so I pulled open a corner & still didnt smell anything... I pulled it out of the box & took a HUGE wiff right on the case... nothing, just the normal weird from factory new fabric smell... I dont even smell that anymore & I have had it for a week or so now. The other thing people complain about the elastics inside that hold the Vita in place. people have cut these off as they do not like them... this I feel is a preference, I personally like them. They stretch enough that I can get the Vita out without to much difficulty or damage to the system. They are tight enough that they hold the system in place comfortably. People say they tug on the analog sticks when they try to take the system out of the case but I dont find this to be an issue. I pull up on the elastic while grabbing the bottom corner of the system & put the elastic behind that side of the system I then lift the other elastic & slide out the system towards the side I already pulled the elastic off of. So again this is preference as to whether or not you want to snip them out. The case itself is nice quality & I feel if I dropped it from about waist high no damage would come to my Vita. The flap inside has space for a few games &/or Memory Cards... however I do find that these slots are a little to big for the Memory Card alone without some sort of small case (like what the SD Cards come in)... games have no issue fitting. There is a netting on the inside as well for small accessories... but not the AC adaptor... maybe a USB Cable and some ear buds are all that would fit. I personally have not used this section yet. All in all I find this to be a good purchase for the price as it is good quality, I feel it protects my system, & like that it has some space for some games &/or Memory Cards. I definitly give this product 5 Stars. Good price, good product.

> 3 dayIt has a carabiner clip so you can hook it to your belt loop or backpack strap or something like that, but I dont know why youd want to do that. It has a zipper to keep your stuff from falling out, which is nice but pretty much all of these products have that. The outer shell is black fabric with a thin core of hard plastic I think. It is not the most durable thing in the world - do not expect it to protect your Vita and games if you drop it down the stairs or run it over with your moms car. But it will protect against minor bumps that frequently happen when you travel. Inside has three types of pockets. One whole side has two elastic straps that will hold your PSVita in place. It will fit the model PCH-1001, I am not sure about other models because I dont own other models. The other side has a flap that acts as a cushion for the top of your Vita when you zip up the case. The back (or top) side of the case has two additional types of pockets. There are four tiny pouches that will fit your Vita games, and two mesh pockets that are the perfect size for one UMD (PSP game/movie disc) each. Aside from that, you might be able to squeeze a small pocket notebook and a pen on top of the flap before you zip it up but there really isnt much extra room for accessories and such. If you want to bring more than four PSVita games with you, I recommend stashing them in a zip-lock sandwich bag and stuff the bag in here on top of the flap. If you want to bring more than two bigger items (i.e. those UMD discs) Id recommend using some other kind of case for that.

> 3 dayTried Frebreze, that didnt do much, tried just airing it out, nada, put a dryer sheet in it and that sorta worked actually, but soaking it in the sink with dish soap for a whole day really seems to have worked. It smells like soap now, and maybe that heinous stench is still there, but its certainly masked to the point where it smells good-to-odd instead of outright bad. It was a very weird smell whatever it was, nothing like new shoes or whatever, was really pungent and foul. The pockets for the games were sewn shut on the wrong end based on the pictures, but you can still get games in them. Not sure if theyre secure or not since I only have one physical game at the moment, but it seems like itll work. I havent cut the elastic bands out yet, but they dont seem necessary; I havent used them but I think removing them might cause the Vita to slide around a bit inside. If it wasnt for the smell I wouldve given it 4 stars, and then 5 if the game pockets werent sewn in wrong. Its the kind of thing that some people seemed to have really lucked out on.

> 3 dayIt does its job. Can use it with a shell case on the Vita. Not a real fan of the elastic bands to hold the Vita in. The flap that holds the games, memory cars, and other items feels flimsy. Time will tell.

> 3 dayThe case is good and sturdy which makes for good protection. This is good if you are prone to dropping your handheld games or carry around your portables in a purse or bag where it can be crushed or scratched by other items. My only complaint is that while it does contain slots to hold other game cards, they do not seem to hold well and the game cards tend to slip out easily. I have actually lost game cards this way so I wouldnt advise using it to carry anything but the Vita itself.

> 3 dayI was skeptical at first looking at this case since most of the reviews by people that said they liked this case were from 2012, and most of the reviews from 2014 said the case was horrible and smelled bad. I ended up buying this case anyway and I think it is as perfect as i could have asked for. My case doesnt smell like burning rubber in fact the only way I could even smell this case was if I stuck my nose against it, if you back your nose up an inch you cant detect it, but even when you do get next to it, it only smells like a shoe does when you first buy it. overall this case is very sturdy and the game slots fit fine, I dont think I couldve asked for a better quality item at 8 dollars. Verdict: *Quite affordable *Very snug *The straps can be a tad annoying but they do keep the vita very secure *Doesnt smell bad *Feels like it is high quality You really cant go wrong for 8 bucks, Id suggest this case.

Greater than one weekFor the price it wont get much better than this. I just wanted something to keep my Vita safe while out and about. As someone else suggested in one of the reviews, dont use the elastic bands, just let the vita sit on top of them and then zip up the case. The problem is to use the bands you have to force the vita into the case and I just dont feel comfortable doing that as im trying to have the Vita last for many years to come. The case is solid and well built and I feel confident that dropping this a few feet up with my vita inside will do next to nothing to the Vita.

> 3 dayThis is a nice enough case for your Vita. Its not quite a hardshell but it isnt soft either – I dont hesitate to throw it into my backpack loose with other items. There is a little fold out divider and pockets for a few games but there isnt quite enough room to fit the (admittedly, pretty big) Vita power adapter. You could probably fit just the USB cable, but Id prefer a case that would hold everything.
