> 24 hourI LOVE THESE SOCKS! This is probably my 4 or 5th pair of Darn Tough socks. They are true to their word, and when I wore out two pair of them I shipped them back to get a brand new pair. These are so great youll want to wear them constantly, which is okay. The places my socks wore out the most was the achilles tendon area as well as the bottom aspect of the heel. These socks are expensive, but if you can keep track of them and not lose them then you are in great shape for life! I wear a size 9-9.5 in shoes and the medium size fits great to me. I am also very particular about my socks and how the fit. I dont like them bunched up around the achilles area and I like a sock that really conforms to my foot throughout. THESE ARE IT! No sock company has designed a sock better to fit my foot than these.

> 24 hourI thought I was getting a real bargain when I mistakenly thought I ordered a 3 pack for $22. But I was not so thrilled when I learned it was just one pair for that money. Not itchy but they did shrink a bit with first washing. They also got thicker so they feel even tighter. But I guess that makes them warmer.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
