> 3 dayAfter 15 years in the Marines, I finally found a great pair of socks. They are great in cold/wet weather, and good for hot weather (it takes a couple of washes to get the smell out them if you wear them in a hot place like Africa). Best of all, there is no slipping or rubbing on the heel, which means no blisters! At least after 25 miles of hiking... A little pricey, but well worth the money.

Not to mention they have a lifetime guarantee, who would have thought socks would have a guarantee like that? I use these for hiking, snow showing, skiing, snowmobiling, outside yard work, and pretty much anything else. They’re a great pair of socks and I have no regrets buying them

Greater than one weekDarn Tough, I cannot understand why a person would buy any other sock brand. I have been a customer of theirs for, I guess, about 5 years now. I am hard on socks, (goat farm life). These are not the only style I have but its the one I wear the most simply because the heavy weight socks are like wearing mukluks. I can attest to the Darn Tough Guarantee, easy breezy. Do yourself a favor, just dont buy any other brand.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.
STILL MADE IN VERMONT, USA
After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
