> 3 dayFinally a sock that has enough padding/cushion to comfort sore feet!! A bit pricey, but they do come with a lifetime warranty. I initially bought one pair, but loved them so much, I bought several more sets so I have a bit more than a weeks worth, and threw away a bunch of other summer/ankle socks I had... these are awesome! Side note: AFTER I had bought the first pair, I wore them to go skydiving. In the room where chutes are repacked, everyone takes their shoes off. All the instructors wore Darn Tough socks! Apparently one of them found them as I had and shared the word with all his buddies there!

> 3 dayI like these socks for their superior cushioning. but my most recent order was a bit large for my mens size 10 1/2 feet. The socks were too long so the heel cup was up the back of my leg. So I purposely shrank them by boiling them in hot water, and now they fit perfect. The large I ordered are supposed to fit 10-12, but they needed to be shrunk for best fit.

Greater than one weekNot the best work or hiking socks. Especially for the money. Build quality is mediocre. Theyre loose out of the box, despite being my size. It only gets worse with sweat as the day goes on. They also make my boots extremely uncomfortable. Which is important because Im in these things running around (literally) or 10 or more miles every day. My smart wools are infinitely better than these. I regret buying them.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do. We do it because for us, it’s the only way to do it. There are faster and cheaper alternatives but nobody ever outsourced anything for quality.
