> 3 dayThis is my daily wear sock and really the only thing I wear with the exception of some other low cut socks for specific shoes. So I buy the black and wear them to walk, hike and with my office pants to work. At the office they are tall enough, unless are wearing “high water” pants no one will even notice you are wearing ankle socks. They are not hot and are breathable. I love them when I travel because the wool content and quality prevent odors so I can pack fewer socks and alternate them over days. As for quality, i have never had to consider their warranty because I have had zero issues with the few pairs I own for a few years now. I did loose one a few months back but that happens with socks.

> 3 dayOrdered what I believe is the largest size available. After washing, the amount of shrinkage is significant enough to make these fit too tight. I like the socks, but use them sparingly.

> 3 dayDarn Tough makes a great pair of socks. These fit true to size and have the same high-quality standards I am accustomed to receiving every time. Get yourself a couple pairs of these and a couple pair of some longer ones if youre in a colder climate and youll be set for the foreseeable future. The only breakdown I have ever experienced was caused by my shoes breaking down and rubbing the socks thin. Other than that, comfortable, smooth sailing.

> 3 dayI bought a pair of these socks from another site since they were in sale. I was concerned about their own thickness since I live in Florida. To my surprise they are the most comfortable socks I have ever owned. I bought another pair on Amazon and even though they are not cheap they are US made and just great socks even in the heat. Will buy more.

> 3 dayThese are great for the winter. They keep my feet warm while preventing them from sweating. You can really feel the cushion in them as well. They fit great, and have a LIFETIME WARRANTY! You just cant beat that. My one suggestion if youre going to buy multiple: buy them all in the same color! The point of these socks is to have them for a long time. If you lose a sock here and there, you will still have complete pairs to send in for warranty replacement as they wear down over time.

We live and work in Northfield, Vermont. Our backyard is the perfect testing ground to make the finest Premium All Weather Performance Socks. We ski, snowboard, hike, bike and run in the most unforgiving climate in the lower 48. It is under these conditions that we design, test and manufacture our socks.

After so many decades why do we still knit every pair of our socks here in Vermont? We don’t do it because it’s the easy thing to do—we do it because it’s the right thing to do.
