Got these to put odds n ends on. Made several bootable OSs (Linux) to try them out and these work just fine for that. As far as their longevity only heaven knows. If down the road they start failing I will update.

Quality product at a great price

I must have some really bad luck. I got the only 5 pack that was made from floor dripping. Somebody grabbed 5 of the ones in the defective bin and mailed them to me.

Reformat required to hold more than 4GB. Swap it from Fat32 to xFat format.

Perfect for saving all writing. Perfect for use with an Apple Laptop, and perfect for helping them not have to save everything on their hard drive, so their privacy is maintained. I read all the reviews but was hesitant as a photographer so I may update later if something goes wrong but so far they worked great. They have a fun color and sleek look. I believe metal casing. The cap stays on snug. I have fairly slow WiFi internet but they loaded 800 digitally retouched images in about 2 minutes.
