Great for transferring family photo history to grandchildrern

I bought 3 of these 6 months ago. One is now unusable. Can not format it. Even going into Dos and trying several different methods, no good. Seems to be getting harder to find good quality flash drives.

I finally decided to switch to Linux. I bought a four pack of these USB sticks to install various Linux distributions on to test them out and see which one I liked the best. Little did I know that I could install multiple live versions of Linux on one USB stick. Now I dont need all for of them, but Im glad I bought them anyway. They provide a lot of storage and are great to have around. I dont know how long theyll last, but Im happy with the purchase. Now I need to get a couple of USB 3.0 sticks.

Got here fast and a great product.

All the drives work perfectly except for one that isnt working at all.

1. Different colors helpful 2. Fit into printer and computer easily, basic shape, no fancy styling to obstruct easy placement.

One didnt work, and two were difficult to work, but did after a reformat, one wouldnt reformat and wouldnt read. The ones that did, work great and was a good deal for the money.

Its a pack of low-capacity USB drives for installing bootable OSs on, since you can get a pack of them for cheap, and you dont feel like youre wasting a lot of storage on one of these. build quality is fine.. good enough. longevity is questionable, but if youre just installing windows through these, then thats fine. being USB 2.0, theyre slow, but fine for installing an OS. Dont buy these if youre storing precious photos or music, as I wouldnt trust them with that kind of data. In that case, Id point you toward something by Sandisk or Samsung, maybe also with USB 3.0 so they arent so slow as well, and probably with more storage, 64 and 128GB drives are super cheap.

The manufacturer asked me to revise my review as I had complained about the lack of labels. It is my opinion that and media should automatically come with labels or something to record what is on the drives. It is true that they did not state that these came with labels. I cannot, however give 5 Stars becuaseI have not used them all. The one drive that I have used is worth 5 Stars! It worked very well with no problems on my WIN7 Home laptop. No complaints at all! I have not yet filled that drive and have not tested the other four but I have no reason to think there will be any problems. I very much like the portability and also the plastic envelope that keeps them all together and easy to tote.
