Excellent quality

I havent clocked them nor do I regularly transfer large amounts of data but these are fast enough for me not to notice which is good. I use them to create bootable disks with Linux isos so theyve been formatted and re-formatted many times as I distro-hop and Ive had no problems. I found these at a better price than 4gb packs, that was about 6 months ago. Also, super cheap drives I purchased in the past havent been reliable or durable so paying a little more is worth it to me. I recommend this product The only knock I have is the caps which I tend to lose. But thats just me being nitpicky

I was looking for cheap usb drives that I wouldnt use more than 4GB each on for various boot utilities, installations, and flashing of firmware. Of course theres always the problem of fake usb drives where the actual space is smaller than indicated and you simply start overwriting data if you exceed the real space. These use Chipsbanks CBM2199a which is a pretty new flash controller and the memory reported as ECD7947E64C4 - Samsung K9HDGY8U5B - 4CE/Single Channel [MLC-8K] I ran them through a 3 pass low level factory format using UMPtool and they are all really 16GB (ish). Benchmark show they are below but close enough to the performance of a Sandisk Cruzer Glide (16GB usb 2.0). However the random write performance is pretty bad. You can compensate for this with disk caching in Windows. Below are the benchmark results. Overall they are 5 stars because the price is great , they arent fake, and the performance is mostly ok. I must have some really bad luck. I got the only 5 pack that was made from floor dripping. Somebody grabbed 5 of the ones in the defective bin and mailed them to me.

Used these to send a number of hours of old home movies to my family

These are really handy when you need a document storage or as for use doing ISO burns.

I used these for Embroidery designs I bought online. They worked great.
