Exo Terra Gecko Cave for Reptiles and Amphibians, Reptile Hideout, Medium, PT2865

I was nervous that my giant leopard gecko wouldnt fit but when it arrived it worked perfectly. Plenty of room for moss and a small lip on the bottom half that keeps water refills for the moss from dripping over into the tank. My baby took a bit to check it out and go in but hes spent a large portion of his time in it since. I would definitely purchase again if I get another gecko. <3

This gecko cave is awesome!!! Leopard gecko loves it and spends a lot of time in there. The cool thing is that you are able to lift the lid off for cleaning and can also put some sand or some type of substrate in it or if you just want to check on your gecko. It fit perfectly in 20 gallon long tank. Our gecko is young but it will definitely be fine for adult gecko, which we also have. It’s made very well and durable and easy to clean. I would definitely purchase again and definitely highly recommend.

I use mine as both wet and dry hide dependant on shedding. The leopard geckos love them and it simulates their natural behavior as most of their thermo regulation comes from laying on warm rock. (dont use heat rocks though, they can burn). Doesnt hurt that it looks nice, is easy to clean, and is made from quality materials. Absolutely recommend. Edit: I ordered a third one and it took 1.5 months to ship and came dirty and damaged. Took off a star for that. Im getting a replacement as I do still recommend this product.

Good shelter for our family Leopard Gecko in her tank. She spends most of her time within the rock, and occasionally basks on top of it.

My leopard gecko loves this enclosure, sadly the closure was shipped with a crack in the base. It was either cracked before or during shipment. Good product, bad delivery of it. I would give it four stars but for the crack.

Our leopard gecko loves this as her moist hide. It’s easy to clean. I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality product. I did a lot of research on this type of hide and was pleased with this choice.

My medium Exo Terra Gecko Cave came in yesterday. I washed it and placed it into my leopard geckos tank and thats all she wrote! My adult leopard gecko has enjoyed this hide greatly since. Shes a normal, average sized leopard gecko so the medium cave is just fine for her. The opening of the cave could stand to be a little bigger but nonetheless it is well built and sturdy. I made this a humid hide for her as I was using a homemade tupperware one she rarely used. I wanted something that would help her shed better and that she would hopefully use often. The photos speak for themselves!! Great product.

Have a fat tail gecko who is about the size of a leopard gecko. This hide was finally big enough for him! I use moss inside to keep it moist and warm and he is happy. Unlike one I ordered previously (a different brand) that wasnt big enough, this one is a great size. This one also has no sharp edges and is easy to clean. Looks great in the tank!

When I initially ordered this cave they didnt have large in stock so I got the medium, despite most of the reviews saying that a large is better for an adult leopard gecko. When it arrived I thought there was no way my adult male would fit in there but decided to give it a try anyways. But what do you know, I found him snoozing in there this morning and he seems quite comfortable. And the paper towels stayed moist all night. If your gecko doesnt like smaller hides get the large, but otherwise you can save the $20+ and just get the medium. They will fit!! Its very roomy on the inside because of its domed ceiling. Its a very nice material and comes in two pieces so its easy to clean and refresh whatever substrate you put in there.
