Perfect for our ghecko..didnt know she would enjoy it as much as she has...she has not left this thing since we got it but to do her thing. Must have for your leopard ghecko. Makes her feel more relaxed and safe in her little cave. It was bigger than expexted I think our full size leopard ghecko would of been fine with the medium size she has plenty of space

There is nothing better than this. I use it for a leopard gecko. I bought the medium and it was perfect for my 20 gallon tank. Its beautiful and I love how the top comes off. I buy only hides that have an easily removable top so I can get to the leopard gecko anytime I need to. I put misted moss inside as a spa for the gecko to help with shedding. Update: I decided this works better as my warm/dry hide on the warm side of my tank, and to get the hide warmer, I decided not to use the bottom. It works perfectly for that. I also decided to use paper towels instead of moss. My leopard gecko loves this. NOTE: The texture is smooth, but my leopard gecko has no trouble climbing on top of it.

Great hide for a Leopard Gecko as stated by everyone else. I was wondering how this compares to the Zoo Med hide. So, I purchased both. Here is what I think: The Medium Zoo Med cave is a bit larger than the medium Exo Terra cave and just a bit smaller than the large Exo Terra if anyone was wondering. For an adult gecko, the medium Zoo Med is great (or the large), but with ExoTerra you might want to go with the large size. The Exo Terra is more of a resin material, while the Zoo Med is more like ceramic. There can be some sharp edges on the inside lip of the Exo Terra that a little sand paper fixes right up, though I doubt the edges are an issue anyway. Hole placement: I used to make hides from poly foam, and I found that LGs like hides where they climb down into the hide. The Zoo Med hide hole placement is like that - the gecko climbs down into the hide. Not a big deal and not a deal breaker, but the Exo Terra hide has the hole on the side down low. Just an observation, and the gecko will likely care less anyway. So that is some info for you. I have both in my adult geckos cage. Cant go wrong with either. This hide style is better than any half-log, etc. My advice is to lay this partially over the heat, with about 1/4 to 1/3 of it over a non-heated area. This way the gecko can thermo-regulate inside the cave without having to choose either an all-warm cave or an all-cold cave.

Best purchase for my gecko thus far. Beyond happy with the quality, color, durability, and overall look. It’s great used with lightly damp moss. Little dude sleeps and looks very comfy. I really would recommend.

My juvenile leopard gecko LOVES this hide! He uses this hide the most out of his 3. I frequently use this as a moist hide to help him shed. It works great because it has the bottom piece which keeps the substrate from getting wet and also makes it perfect for knowing exactly where to place the moist paper towels or sphagnum moss. Its lightweight and super easy to lift the top off and mist inside or find him hiding in there. The outside surface looks very close to natural rock and the top is semi-flat giving him a place to climb up and look around. When he gets bigger I will definitely buy the large size.

My leopard gecko loves this enclosure, sadly the closure was shipped with a crack in the base. It was either cracked before or during shipment. Good product, bad delivery of it. I would give it four stars but for the crack.

Love it! Fit perfectly in my Leo’s tank right where my homemade hide was. I got the medium for my 9 month old leopard gecko. I agree with others that the hole should be bigger, but it’s nice and roomy inside. Looks great and has nice weight to it. I just wish it didn’t have holes punched through it just for the packaging, but easily patched up many ways. Will order the next size up if he outgrows this one.

I bought this for my wifes Leopard Gecko and have it on the cool side of the tank since there is a bottom on it. He spends most of the time in his hot hide but on occasion I find him hiding out in this one. It looks great in his tank and is really well made. I like the fact that the top comes off and can be wiped clean easily. My wife cut a piece of reptile carpet for the inside for a little more comfort. Its a great piece and well worth the price.

Its very sturdy and worth the money. Bought two more for my grandsons.
