FastCap PSSR16 16 FastPad Standard Reverse Measuring Tape

By far, the best affordable measuring tape in my toolbox. I liked it so much, I bough a second to keep at my miter saw station. Plus, it has a built in pencil sharpener.

I picked up this tape measure to replace an old Stanley that I had for years. I decided to replace a ton of baseboard throughout the first floor of my house and my Stanley was just off.. after switching to the Fastcap my cuts were so tight that baseboard seemed to be +/- 1/32” or so because I had to lightly sand edges to dry fit a few of the panels.

The only drawback is its length of only 16 feet. Exceptional locking devise! If your a lefty this will be easier on the eyes and the brain trying to recalculate upsidedown numbers.

This is a tool that gets a serious workout on every project. I had been carrying a larger tape for years, but saw this used by a woodworker I follow and imagined it might make life a little easier. Its smaller / lighter, has markings in both directions so its easy to read, and it has a satisfying extension / retraction system that feel solid and doesnt jangle around like my larger tape.

Love these tape measures! We have several of these we use in our home repair business. We could not be happier! Well we could if there were only a true fully left handed model like Stanley made up into the 1980s

Se encuentra bien grabado, sus botones funcionan muy bien. Lo uso frecuentemente y no se a roto ni nada. Es de buena calidad. Lo recomiendo amoliamente.

Super easy to read. Very rigid tape when deployed. Locks positively. Only improvement would be if we switched to the metric system.

I already have 4 tape measures. The features on this one (every Mark labeled, button and slide to lock tape, and pencil sharpener) made me make this tape #5. Its my new go-to.

Its a tape measure. For some reason I really prefer this one though. Easy to read, seems to be built to last.
