Fiebings Saddle Soap

Made my leather shoes look new! Also could be used for case lube in a pinch haha

I’ve used this saddle soap as a means of cleaning my leather work boots. So far it does it’s job and leaves the leather clean, soft and a nice lustre to them. Definitely recommend!

good stuff... and cheaper than competition. I havent tried it on my expensive ($500+) SBL leather bags yet. Has anyone else tried this on SBL leather; if so, how were the results?

I can remember using saddle soap years ago on my leather car seats, which kept them soft and produced a shine better than new. I thought I would give it a try on my leather furniture after using bottle type leather liquids that just give a temporary shine. First, it cleans far better than the liquids and second, the shine lasts longer. The additional benefit of increasing softness/pliability will take a little time. Much as I used to do before I got trapped into the liquids, I used a small, damp towel to apply the saddle soap in circular motions. I had to rinse the towel a few times because of the amount of ground in dirt (dogs) that I got out. Mind you that this was just shortly after I had cleaned the same furniture with the more expensive auto leather cleaner. As I used to do, after drying, I just did a simple light buff. The results far exceed the bottle stuff; cleaning deeper and a deeper shine now two weeks and running.
