I purchased this back brace for my husband and this is his review: I live in the mountains at 9,800 elevation and we heat with a wood stove so I cut, split and stack around 9-12 cords of firewood each year. I have tried several other back braces but they all weaken and lose their support after a while. This brace has more substance in the material and gives good support. I can wear it over my clothes or under and due to my age I still have low back pain but this brace gives support that makes my work more comfortable. Good price and good support. This belt is easy to adjust, it fits perfectly and it does not get loose or fall off. It really helps if you got a sliding vertebrae or disc. I wear it when I have to stay a longer time for example when I’m working in the kitchen. I also wear it when I’m traveling and have to sit a long time in the car. It gives me the stability support that I need for my lower back. I would recommend not to wear it the entire day because you still need to activate your muscles by yourself. I do my daily exercises but this belt helps you to support your back when you start feeling exhausted. It is worth to try it and it is a good price and very good quality!

This brace suits me just fine. I finally got myself convinced to get a brace after years of torturous back pain – general numbness around my lumbar spine region. I used to ignore the pain but now I’m well aware of the back pain and this brace helps in reducing that. First, this brace wraps perfectly around the waist area. Not too bulky to wear, unlike other waistbands that seem to have thick padding. Second, this one’s got the proper curvature to support my spine. It really does perk your spine region up without constricting your breathing. I usually wear mine whenever I have some tasks to do that require many hours of desk work. Having an upright and proper sitting position prevents backaches that could otherwise disrupt my workflow. Easy to use. Just wrap around the waist!!! This brace doesn’t cut against the skin because of its comfortable fabric & well-designed edges. The quality of craftsmanship that went into it is LEGIT high-grade. The brace itself is convenient to carry in your regular backpack, it doesn’t take up so much space so I’m able to take it with me everywhere, and as often as possible. I don’t hold myself back when it comes to how frequently I need to wear it – it doesn’t cause strains from any restrictive straps. As long as it’s helpful in keeping my back from unnecessary pains and aches. I’ve tried using it while doing light workouts & exercise routines and it has provided the kind of support I needed just the same. Washing it has never been a problem for me. Recently, I had to have two back surgeries in one week. That is big time trauma. Needless to say, that did a number on the strength of my muscles. It will be some time before my back muscles are strong enough, so it was a mutual decision with my surgeon and my physical therapist and me that I should use a back brace to help give me the support I need right now. It has been a big help and it keeps the pain level down. The FIT GENO brace has been a lifesaver!

So I guess I got a herniated disk while loading 600 lbs of salt the other week and I literally couldnt get out of bed it hurt so bad. Laying, sitting, driving, standing, there was no relief. I was very skeptical that a back brace would make any kind of meaningful difference after the fact, but I was desperate. It arrived two days later and wow... relief was instant. Pain isnt completely gone, but I can actually move again without being in agony. As an extra bonus, it knocks about 2 off my waistline lol. Its important to not order based on the waist size of your pants. Although theres plenty of room to adjust tighter, you dont wanna get one too small. The metal supports are definitely making a difference, putting constant compression on the disk. And although its probably not intended for lifting, I will definitely be wearing it from now on any time I expect to put strain on my lower back. 5 stars.

Unlike other back support I have worn, this brace is very comfortable and I was able to wear it all day. While giving great support, it also relived the pain I had every time I would bend over to pick something up or to sit down. This is by far the best back brace I have had in years.
