I have to say this has been the worst experience I have ever had in the last 20 years dealing with a computer. People would not believe that I have been working on attempting to down load a simple virus protection program ( fix it Utilities Professional Version 15) for the last 24 hours and has yet to resolve the problem. I do know that someone in this company felt this was an ingenious idea, but it is a waste of time , unstable, and unclear.

Im not really impressed with this program. I mean, it fixed some problems on my laptop but there are certain problems it wont fix at all. On the Fix & Maintain tab I clicked the one-click fix button and it wont fix everything. I wouldnt suggest this program to anybody.

Fixed nothing. Icon kept disappearing. Deleted itself without my request. Had to reinstall. Ran program and it said it was going to delete some files but would not tell me which ones. Zero improvement in PC performance. Back to AVG.

I thought this would speed up my computer shutting down and booting up. It didnt. It looks like it performs a lot of maintenance tasks and it will, but so will other programs. I didnt notice that this program offered anything better than other programs do. At some point several months after purchase it started showing a pop up to extend time (months before expiration). There was no way to stop the pop-up because its in the application and not shown separately anywhere to be able to block it. I also couldnt keep Fix-it from automatically loading at startup which defeated the whole purpose of buying it to get a faster startup. Then, the clincher is that it is very difficult to uninstall this thing if you dont like it. It doesnt show an uninstall within the program itself. I tried the windows program uninstaller and that didnt work either. I tried uninstalling it with Ccleaner and that didnt work either. I finally had to download Revo uninstaller to get rid of this thing. So, I wouldnt recommend it.

Im a new user, but so far, this utility package is easy to use and provides underlying details if youre the sort of person who wants to know these things.

I also recently threw away money on the pro versions of this crappy program and continue to have these add time and save pop ups appear randomly. Odd theres no way to get rid of these or turn them off. Shame on you, Amazon for selling this POS program. I maybe understand ads in free or trial programs, but I PAID for this POS program. This doesnt even seem to comply with Windows 10, as you cannot resize any window unless you are in 100% mode. If I didnt emphasize it enough, this is one POS program, And I wouldnt buy it!!

I have used Fix It Utilities Pro for over 15 years. It used to be a perfect software program. Now it is horrible! With the latest renewal, I got only 2 weeks of service before it blocked me from using it with an error Unable to access the service at this time, please try again later. When I clicked ok it closed the program. Customer services solution is to uninstall and reinstall every two weeks. Seriously. I paid for a year of service, and U/R every 2 weeks is not what I consider acceptable. Forget about customizing your settings, as in 2 weeks youll need to do it again anyway... Not worth the time or hassle of it. They knew of this glitch, but have yet to correct it. Doesnt give any confidence in their protection or maintenance properties at all anymore. Do not buy.

Registered the product. Had problems with program installation, spoke with service tech, and gave him remote access to my computer. He looked at a few areas and said there were virus problems preventing proper installation of the software. He offered to fix the virus problems, so software could load, for $200.00. Fix-It Utilities Professional, Version 14 was sold for $42 and they wanted another $200 to install the software.

I had purchased an earlier version and I liked it so was going to install on Windows 10. I had issues getting it loaded and reached out to tech support and they did answer but it felt more like stringing me along. They told me to do some basic trouble shooting that never fixed the problem. They also gave me the run around when it came to the money back guarantee. I followed exactly what that said and never heard from them again. So it is clear you WILL NOT get your money back so dont take the chance!
