Fix-It Utilities Professional

My system was running slow, and I was having issues with Windows taking a long time to start up. I tried Fix-It and it worked well ... am very happy with my purchase. Im not very tech savvy ... just looking for a solid fix, and got it.

THIS IS A TOTAL PIECE OF JUNK. I HAVE TRIED TO INSTALL IT ON 3 COMPUTERS, ALL WITHOUT SUCCESS. ON ONE COMPUTER, IT WOULDNT INSTALL AT ALL. ON TWO COMPUTERS IT INSTALLED AND THEN ERASED THE INSTALL AND THEN ASKED TO BE INSTALLED AGAIN TO THE SAME EFFECT. THIS USED TO BE A GREAT PRODUCT. THE LATEST ITERATION IS A TOTAL FAILURE. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT KEEPS SENDING THE SAME RECOMMENDATIONS, REGARDLES OF THE TYPE OF PROBLEMS PRESENTED.

Had a very nasty virus on my pc thought I was going to have to scrub my hard drive, downloaded fix-it utilities, cleaned my hard drive got rid of the malware,could not be happier. Use it weekly to keep things running, by the way Im 70 yrs old, product is self explanatory, easy to use.

I have to say this has been the worst experience I have ever had in the last 20 years dealing with a computer. People would not believe that I have been working on attempting to down load a simple virus protection program ( fix it Utilities Professional Version 15) for the last 24 hours and has yet to resolve the problem. I do know that someone in this company felt this was an ingenious idea, but it is a waste of time , unstable, and unclear.

I downloaded Fix-It utilities on my desk top computer but could not get it to download on my lap top. I was supposed to be able to use it on five computers. I ordered this boxed CD so I could use it on my lap top but when I installed this program it picked up the number of days I had left on my original download. Since I paid $39.99 for this CD I felt I should have gotten my full year for it. I contacted Avenquest and they told me what I have to do to delete the original download which I did not find acceptable. I have not done this to date but I dont feel like I should have to go through this process with my new purchased CD.

VCOM sent out a promotional email indicating Free! Fix-It Utilities 15 computer utility software, and a license key (which turns out to be my old license key). However, its not really Free! - in my instance, user has to pay $19 for subscription renewal (this kind of software isnt worth that much year to year given other options out there). Im aware nowadays of their subscription renewal approach, but... The nature of the email is misleading in my view, it only mentions Free! and free upgrade several times, and says **nothing** about having to pay for a subscription renewal.

That software didnt work in Window 10 Pro. It was a waist if costing.

I tried multiple times to install this software. Each time, I received a message stating that it could not launch the necessary files. Complete reinstall did no good. Support non-existent. I recommend passing on it.

Downloads have been less painful over the last 8 years but customer/office support is zilch. If you want 1 button download or simple instructions, this is not the company.

Could not get it to install (my computer expertise goes back to the mid-70s when we only had punch cards!). I did not buy this program from Amazon, but from Best Buy, so as to verify that it had an install disk. I made it through multiple attempts to install, with each aborting with different reasons, such as bad email address (nope), etc.
