Fluke 117 Digital Multimeter, Non-Contact AC Voltage Detection, Measures Resistance/Continuity/Frequency/Capacitance/Min Max Average, Automatic AC/DC Voltage Selection, Low Impedance Mode

Our school upgraded to plug in, larger meters. Not sure why as Flukes are really good meters. So I decided to take the plunge and buy my own. And it has come in handy for both my electronic lab classes like you wouldnt believe. Glad I made the purchase. Hope to be able to use this for years to come on the new job I hope to get!

Ive been getting voltage and resistance readings. I needed to check amps for the first time and couldnt get a reading. Checked amps with my Mustool meter and got an amp reading. Found out I could do a fuse check and it failed. Only displayed O.L. Performed an ohm check on fuse itself and got O.L

You cant go wrong with fluke. It is a very well made product and is a good multimeter for electricians, not so much for computer electronics etc.

Very easy to use. And the about ranging is amazing.

I like the Volt Alert. It saved me a lot of time finding which wall outlets were on a circuit breaker that keeps kicking.
