08-06-2025Holds accuracy even with weak battery! Other cheaper units will not measure voltage accurately with old battery.

> 3 dayI certainly had some expectations for a Fluke and these were all met. The instrument is built very robustly and it is really easy and intuitive to use. Specifically, the last point is important for me as I dont use the multimeter on a daily basis and dont want to have to go through instructions again and again whenever I need it. It is simple enough that once you used it, youll remember the functions even w/o frequent usage.

> 3 dayThis is my day to day digital multi-meter. There is nothing better than Fluke, and this is one of the best values. Cant go wrong with this! Great product.

> 3 dayMeter has a fast response and appears quite rugged and the readings are very stable. So far, so good. If you do a lot of electronic measurements, this may not be the best choice for you due to not having specialized milliamp scales, but otherwise, it great for all electrical stuff around the house and light industry.

> 3 dayThe Fluke Model 117 is a high quality instrument brand. It is made in China and does not measure well 115/220 volts AC. The leads are very lightweight and too short to be of value to me. Outsourcing the manufacture of a product designed by Fluke to a country that dislikes the USA is poor business. I may seek to return this very disappointing multimeter.

> 3 dayFirst Fluke 117 DMM I received only measured a little over 3 volts AC at a wall outlet known to be good. I emailed Fluke customer service; they said it indicates a faulty meter and to request a replacement. I did so from Amazon, who promptly (two day shipping) sent me a replacement unit - which also measured the same 3 volts AC and also appeared to be faulty. As I only needed the replacement meter, I kept the original leads I received. As a last resort, I got the leads out of the replacement units packaging and used them - and lo and behold it worked! Tested each of the original leads for continuity; the black one was faulty! This DMM would have received 5 stars from me if Fluke would only bother to quality check the leads they ship with their meters!

> 3 dayMeasure most anything accurately and easily. Its compact , solid and easy to read. I like the hold reading feature for when i need to be sure of the connections but cannot see the meter. The standard display is just fine and you can light it up if conditions warrant with the touch of a button.

> 3 dayBought it for auto technician work. Bought it cause it’s half the price of the 87. Comes with leads, got the min/max for working out of view of meter. I can’t see myself using the volt alert, but the Auto-V LoZ function seems like it could come in handy.

> 3 dayGreat quality. I love all the different modes it has. Definitely worth the price, compared to buying cheap multimeters that dont work.
