After lots of research tis was my choice. Having used it a few times now I KNOW it is a good tool for the person who does the repairs around the house, easy to use and makes me feel confident I am using the best on the market.

I previously had a craftsman $60 multimeter which I used to diagnose electrical issues on my boat. In attempting to solve a problem at sea one day. I had a senior tech tell me he was sure the prpbl with my difficulties in diagnosing the issue were a inferior multimeter. He recommended the Fluke 117 and Im confident it will be great.

Ive been using Flukes for years and honestly would never think of purchasing a different brand of meter. This purchase hasnt changed my opinion on Flukes. That being said, I was disappointed by two things about this meter. First, a true case isnt provided. Secondly, the provided leads have too much memory. They are just to kinky for me to use comfortably. After purchasing a case and a set of Fluke silicone leads Ive got a meter Im happy with.

This meter replaced an older version and has the same reliability,ease of use,and range of function as the older meter with some special additional uses.

I was introduced to Fluke 40 years ago, and there is really no other meter that I can trust to use for my purposes. After 30 years, and a drop from a three-story building, I had to replace my old Fluke. The accuracy, size of the display, lighted display, I am more than satisfied

I dont use this daily, but it comes in rather handy. Its nice and durable. Good quality.
