A bit pricey considering there are other meters out there with a few more features but the 324 is perfect for for a/c work. I’m in HVAC. This is my go to summer meter and compliments my 116 for everything I need electrically. Accuracy is key and it is as accurate as any other fluke and more than other brands. I have used fieldpiece, uei, Klein, all good meters but I find the fluke the best. It is fast at showing readings. The only thing I wish it had in addition would be micro amps, guess I have to save up for a 902 but like I said, my 324 and 116 has every I need for hvac. The 324 is a good meter.

I got this meter on a different website. I payed about 120 including shipping brand new from testdepot. Ok fluke makes a beautiful looking meter no doubt the best looking meter. The name sounds so legit supposedly. I have owned 3 fluke meters and this is my second one of these. Both meters had the same issues. This meter just really isnt very reliable or durable. Doesnt last long at all. First of all it simply will not EVER ohm out a grounded compressor. So i have to always just rely on process of elimination otherwise use my back up super old fieldpiece. At this point ive put this meter to pretty much every work day use for about a year and a half. The other day on a service call a compressor wasnt coming on but the condenser motor was. I checked the capacitance it said 0. So i went through the trouble to rewire and change the capacitors to find the compressor still not coming on. I then rechecked the old capacitor and it was reading 78 of 80 mfd. As it turned out the compressor blew a terminal and loss all the refrigerant. What a hassle trying to rely on this meter. It has had numerous times where I try to measure voltage or capacitance and it reads zero. then turn it back on and it reads properly. This is super dangerous! Fieldpiece is better for sure. And I wouldnt know who else to trust. I thought fluke was supposed to be the very best but apparently theyre making these things in another country or something. Doing this for 16 years now ya i have to replace them every 2 to 4 years but definitely much better in every way than these flukes. Ill be buying the field piece sc260 and hoping that it as good as the older meters.

    good instrument worth the money

The Fluke true rms clamp meter is a great clamp meter for general, grab and go troubleshooting needs. The Fluke 323 323 AMZN is ideally suited for current measurements up to 400 a in tight cable compartments.
