Wasn’t so easy to install, but once I figured it out the second wasn’t so bad. Really only took me 20 ish minutes to set up. I love that it small & can be put onto my keys if I wanted.

Okay.. This thing.. is AMAZING.. The instructions that come with the controller is easy to understand and easy to follow. Also the range of it is really good. (Literally follow it step by step <-- super easy to do) I disagree with the other reviewers claiming it only works if youre under it the garage opener or 5 feet away from it. I literally stood at the other side of the street and it still worked perfectly. Giving this product a 5 for convenience and efficiency. I am so glad I dont have to spend decades waiting for my old controller to do something!

This remote works just like any other Genie remote, but is about half the size (bigger than a car remote, but much smaller than a traditional garage door remote). One really important thing to know is how to change the Intellicode system. If you cant get this remote to sync with your garage door opener, hold down the top key for 10 seconds until the indicator light changes color, then press the key twice (press and release, do not hold). The remote will revert to Intellicode 1 from Intellicode 2. This is used for older garage door openers, and there is no mention of it in the product manual!

Needed an extra opener for the garage door for when I walk the dogs, this was simple to program and works every time. Couldnt ask for a better product.

This is a nice little remote. I used this to replace a single button I got years ago and it is great ,plus I can operate 2 other doors or gates. It is small enough to go on a key-ring if you wanted, but it would be bulky in a mans pocket. The supplied, optional visor clip is easy to add (goes into a slot on the back) and snaps into the remote securely (much better than another one I had that the clip was part of a holster like thing that the remote went into - is is smaller and more secure). It seems it could be taken off later (like if you changed your mind) with just a little effort. Its size means it is not a distraction clamped to your visor and it is so light its not going to cause your visor to flop down by itself (like when going over bumps). It synced up to my garage door without any issues.

Does what it needs to but the full price for new remotes are absurd. It really should be less than $20.
